Thursday, December 5th – DINE OUT TO DONATE – Treat yourself to an evening out and make a difference. The Blue River Bistro, Burke and Riley’s and the Boatyard are donating 20% of dinner sales to Summit County Cares. 100% of the money raised will help locals facing eviction, disconnection of heat or in need or medical assistance.
Dec. 7th it’s the Bernese Mountain Dog Parade in Breckenridge! Dog lovers bring your dog or just come watch these wonderful animals as they parade down Main Street to kick off the lighting of Breck. 70 + dogs will lead the procession from the Red White & Blue Fire Dept. down Main St. to the Blue River Plaza. Event starts at 4:30 cookies & cocoa w/ the parade starting at 5:15. Festive holiday apparel for both humans & dogs is encouraged! Go Breck.com
Saturday December 14th it’s an “Elegant Evening of Dance” at the Warren Station in Keystone. The evening is a fundraiser for the Summit Dance Fund & features a short performance from the top dancers in Summit County, appetizers, cash bar & following the performance – open dancing, dessert & coffee. SYRCL Wild and Scenic Film (5:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m.) – High Country Conservation Center and Continental Divide Land Trust are partnering to bring the film festival to Breckenridge. HCCC and CDLT share complementary missions of resource and land conservation. 2nd Annual Ullr Classic Pond Hockey Tournament (9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) – Close out the week with a pond hockey tournament held at the Gold Run Nordic Center, 200 Club House Drive. Register online $150 per team and FREE for spectators.
