The Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival is one of the premiere events in Breckenridge, Colorado each year bringing 40 craft breweries for tastings, live music, a VIP area and wonderful food and retail vendors.  All taking place in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado with amazing views of the mountains! Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival was voted one of the Best Events of the Summer by 5280 in 2010 and named as one of the top 12 things to do in Denver (CO) this summer by Thrillist!

Brand new for Summer 2014, the Breckenridge Summer Beer Festival will be taking place outside at the Beaver Run Resort & Condominiums at the base of the Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Getting into Breckenridge on Friday for the Breckenridge Beer Festival?  If so, stop by Park Avenue Pub for our beerfest mug pickup party from 6-8 p.m to get your mug and wristbands early plus enjoy $5 wings, $5 pizzas, & $4 micro brews during the party.  Park Avenue Pub is located at 605 Park Avenue in the Village Circle near the corner of Park and Main St.  Free parking is available in the F Lot across the street.


Looking for a way volunteer and give back to your community while having fun too?  Volunteers are still needed for the Breckenridge Beer Festival. Proceeds from the event benefit the High Country Conservation Center.  Volunteer shifts can be found here.

Event Guidelines

  •  This Festival is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. All guests shall remain respectful and courteous to their fellow patrons and to comply with requests from Festival staff regarding Festival policies, emergency response procedures and behavior which impacts the event experience of fellow spectators. The Festival values the support of all guests and reserves the right to eject any guests for any reason, including not treating other guests attending the Festival with dignity and respect.
 Photography & Videography
  • The permitted use of cameras varies by event. Entrance onto event premises provides the Festival with your consent for the Festival to use event photographs and videos for promotional purposes.
 Carry in and Contraband Items
  • The following items are not permitted in Festival Area:
  • Outside Alcohol or other Beverages
  • Bottles, cans, growlers, camelbacks
  • Smoking – no smoking within the event premises
  • Marijuana - Smoking marijuana in public is against the law
  • Food and drink purchased outside
  • Coolers
  • Frisbees and/or beach balls
  • Any noise making devices, specifically air horns with sirens, whistles
  • Fireworks
  • Illegal drugs and alcohol
  • Weapons and dangerous devices of any type
  • Guests found in possession of contraband items will be subject to expulsion from the facility and the contraband items confiscated.
  • NO GLASS other than Festival approved glasses
 This event is environmentally friendly - Reduce/Reuse/Recycle
  • The goal of this event is to be zero waste. Please make yourself aware of the trash/recycle/compost bins and work with the volunteers to place your waste in the appropriate bin.  All products at this event should be 100% recyclable or compostable.  Look for the zero hero tents at the event.
 Disorderly Conduct
  • Guests who fail to abide by Festival policies, state and federal law are subject to ejection from the facility. Guests in violation of Festival policy will be asked to correct their behavior, if they fail to do so in a timely fashion ejection will occur.
  • Disruptive and problem Guests should be reported to event staff or security personnel immediately. Ejected Guests must vacate Festival property.
 Firearms / Weapons
  • Guests are prohibited from bringing weapons into the Festival.
 Lost and Found
  • Items found before, during, or after an event should be turned into the main ticketing area. Items will then be turned into Radiate Live, logged in and kept at the office for 30 days. Items may be passed to the local authority, donated to charity or disposed of at the discretion of management after 30 days.
Panhandling / Soliciting
  • Panhandling is not allowed at the Festival. Only Festival Authorized Vendors and Sponsors will be permitted in the event area.
  • The throwing of projectiles inside the Arena is prohibited.


From Hwy 9 take Park Avenue into Breckenridge (stay right coming into Town)
Parking, Buses & Shuttles: 
- Beaver Run will run FREE shuttle service from the event to F- Lot and back on a regular bases from 12:30 - end of event
 - FREE Parking in F-Lot
 - Parking in Tiger Dredge/Riverwalk Lot (walk to F-Lot Shuttles)
 - Park in South or North Gondola Lots (The Yellow Breck Free Ride picks up at :02 and :32 after the hour until 6:02 p.m. & goes to Beaver Run - a 5 minute ride)
 - The Yellow Route also stops at F-Lot & returns from Beaver Run at :07 & :37 after the hour until 6:07 p.m and then returns to town at :37 after the hour until 11:30

  • 1:00 p.m. - Event Opens
  • 1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Fort Frances on stage
  • 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - The Wind + The Wave on stage
  • 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Turkuaz on stage
  • 5:50 p.m. - Last call for alcohol
  • 6:00 p.m. - Event Closes


  • Where is event check in?
The entire event will be held at Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center this summer (nothing downtown).  Check in for the event will be at Park Avenue Pub on Friday night (6-8 p.m.) or Saturday at the gate from 1-6 p.m.  You can skip the check in lines on Saturday by coming to the Park Avenue Pub party on Friday night.
  • Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You must be 21 or over to drink alcohol at the event.  You can enter the event if you are under 21 and purchase food and non-alcoholic beverages from vendors.  Children are allowed, but keep in mind it's a busy, crowded atmosphere.
  • What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
You can park in the free lots in downtown Breckenridge and walk to the venue.  The closest free parking lot will be downtown in F lot.   Shuttles will be running from F lot to the venue, so if you don't park in F lot, you can walk to it and catch the shuttle.
  • What can/can't I bring to the event?
You & all your friends! Make sure to bring your ID!  Food & retail vendors are there so cash for food & cool goods.  This is a no pet event, so leave fido at home. No food or external alcohol will be allowed in the event.  Bags will be checked.

  • Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes, if you contact the organizer and the person it's transferred to an attendee who is 21 or older.
  • Can I get in if I'm a Designated Driver?
Yes of course!  The event is free to walk through so no need to buy a ticket if you're just coming in with friends.  But if you'd like to experience the event VIP style, we have a VIP DD presale ticket available that gets you food, N/A drinks, private bathrooms, shade, and seating in front of the band.
  • Can I update my registration information?
Yes, via your Eventbrite account.
  • Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, you can bring your smartphone & we can scan your ticket from your email.  If not, please bring your ticket.
  • What is the refund policy?
No refunds will be offered.  This is a rain/snow/shine event.
  • The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes. One person can buy multiple tickets for a group and just provide the one name.  Everyone must have their valid ID to get into the event!
  • Where is the "official" after party this year?
Beaver Run Resort will be hosting the official after party this year at Spencer's & Base 9 inside the resort.  Spencer's will have a $30 all you can eat BBQ dinner and $4 craft beer bottles.  Base 9 will have "create your own" beer flights for $10 and happy hour pricing from 4 p.m. to close plus 50% off food items from 5-8 p.m.
  • Is there a Sunday brunch for attendees to nurse their hangovers?
Yes, Spencer's at Beaver Run Resort will extend their normal Sunday Brunch until noon with a breakfast buffet with omelet station and seafood display for $24 plus 2 for 1 bloody mary's.  For reservations call 970-453-8755.
