In the gorgeous setting of Harry A. Nottingham Park in quaint Avon, CO, the Reds, Whites & Brews Festival has evolved to become a ‘don’t miss’ event of the summer!  This event will feature amazing unlimited wine & craft beer tastings, LIVE music, vendors and food!  Live music on Saturday from 4 Nashville based singer/songwriters, wine tastings from Veraison Distributing, craft beer tastings from over 20 breweries, local restaurants and food vendors, and more!

  • Unlimited Tasting- $25 pre-sale / $30 day of – Guarantees entrance into event, small tasting glass, and unlimited wine & craft beer tastings from over 20 wineries & 20+ breweries.
  • VIP Experience – $60 pre-sale & $75 day of – Guarantees entrance into event and VIP tent with private seating area, catered lunch, full size & limited edition beers, N/A beverages, private bathrooms, full size glass tasting mug, and unlimited tastings from wineries & breweries. Catered lunch will be served from 2 – 5 p.m. with one ticket per VIP guest for a full-plate. Other snacks & light hors d’oeuvres will be available in the VIP area from 1- 2 p.m. and again from 5 – 6 p.m.
  • VIP DD Experience- $25 – Guarantees entrance into event and VIP tent with private seating area, catered lunch, N/A beverages, private bathrooms.  This ticket DOES NOT include any alcohol. (Limited quantities available). Catered lunch will be served from 2 – 5 p.m. with one ticket per VIP guest for a full-plate. Other snacks & light hors d’oeuvres will be available in the VIP area from 1- 2 p.m. and again from 5 – 6 p.m.
  • General Admission Tickets – $10 – Entrance and music only ticket.  All ages 12 and up must have this ticket if you do not purchase a tasting ticket.  THIS TICKET DOES NOT INCLUDE ALCOHOL AND NO ALCOHOL WILL BE SERVED INSIDE THE VENUE.

Reds Whites & Brews is a fundraiser for the Vail Valley Charitable Fund and the Samantha Remington Angel Heart Foundation.


Kicking off the Reds, Whites & Brews Weekend, June 17th through the 21st, will be the 2015 Avon Restaurant Week featuring specials from participating restaurants in & around Avon, CO.  Taking part in the 2015 theme, all participating restaurants will feature a food and drink special for one or two people for a total of $20.15.  All restaurants will use fresh and innovative ingredients to showcase their specific summer menus.

Participating restaurants include:

  • Boxcar Restaurant – 1 small plate & 4 beer flight
  • Montana’s Smokehouse – Herb Roasted Half Chicken -n- Ribs  plus a draft of your choice
  • Blue Plate – Pick between the hanger steak or the trout
  • Maya Beaver Creek – Choose from one of Maya’s signature Enchiladas entrees: Shredded Chicken Enchilada, Crab and Shrimp Enchilada or Huitlacoche & Wild Mushroom Enchilada
  • Pazzos in Avon – Any house large 18″ pizza, 2 small house salads
  • Avon Bakery & Deli – 2 complete lunches: 2 sandwiches, 2 chips, 2 drinks, 2 desserts

Event Guidelines


Bring yourself & your crew along with ID and your ticket on your phone or printed!!

  • Can I bring my pet? - No, this is a no pet event
  • Can I bring a tent? - NO
  • Can I bring lawn chairs & blankets? - Yes
  • Is there seating? - Yes, on grass.
  • Can I bring a cooler? - No
  • Can I bring a water bottle? - Yes, you can bring an empty water bottle for water refills
  • Can I come & go as I please? - Yes, but you will need your wristband to re-enter.
  • Can I bring a bag? - Yes, but it will be subject to a search.
  • Can I bring a camelback or boda bag? - Yes, empty.  Breweries will not fill these items for you.
  • Are recording devices allowed (video cameras, digital cameras, phones)? - Yes

The following items are not permitted in Festival Area:

  • Outside Alcohol or other Beverages
  • Bottles, cans, growlers or non-event cups
  • Smoking – no smoking within the event premises
  • Marijuana - Smoking marijuana in public is against the law
  • Food and drink purchased outside
  • Coolers
  • Frisbees
  • Any noise making devices, specifically air horns with sirens, whistles
  • Fireworks
  • Illegal drugs and alcohol
  • Weapons and dangerous devices of any type
  • Guests found in possession of contraband items will be subject to expulsion from the facility and the contraband items confiscated.
  • NO GLASS other than Festival approved glasses


This Festival is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. All guests shall remain respectful and courteous to their fellow patrons and to comply with requests from Festival staff regarding Festival policies, emergency response procedures and behavior which impacts the event experience of fellow spectators. The Festival values the support of all guests and reserves the right to eject any guests for any reason, including not treating other guests attending the Festival with dignity and respect.

  • What if there’s inclement weather?

If a situation occurs where there is an emergency weather situation (lightning, extreme wind or other acts of god), the Festival reserves the right to temporarily suspend event operations & find shelter for guests and vendors.  If the situation occurs that this weather occurs for longer than a “temporary” situation, the Festival organizers reserve the right to close down the event for the safety of patrons. An alternate discounted event attendance opportunity will be offered to ticket holders if this situation should occur prior to an hour before event end and not be able to reopen.  Weather situations are based on the discretion of event producers and local authorities. No refunds will be given.

  • What if I’ve lost my child?  

Please let your children know ahead of time that if they become lost, to go to the main event ticketing booth and tell one of the event staff or security. They can also find any event staff or security, or go into any store & the person they talk to will accompany them to the Ticketing area.  As soon as a ticketing person is assigned to your child, we’ll make announcements on stage until you’re reunited.

  • Is there a lost & found?

Yes at the ticketing booth. See policies below for specifics.

  • Will there be a medic on site?

Yes, there will be a red medic (EMS) tent staffed throughout the day if you have any issues.

  • What do I do if I’ve had too much to drink?

Please let an event security or staff know if you feel you’ve had too much to drink & don’t have a sober way to leave the event. We will work with you to handle the situation as best we can. Ideally, we will find you a safe ride home, or to get you some food or water until you’re feeling better. All patrons who we help in this manner will need to be checked out of the event by EMS, Security & Event Manager.


  • Photography & Videography

The permitted use of cameras varies by event. Entrance onto event premises provides the Festival with your consent for the Festival to use event photographs and videos for promotional purposes.

  • Carry in and Contraband Items

  • Disorderly Conduct

Guests who fail to abide by Festival policies, state and federal law are subject to ejection from the facility. Guests in violation of Festival policy will be asked to correct their behavior, if they fail to do so in a timely fashion ejection will occur.

  • Overindulgence

The Festival and location maintains the right to question guests who appear to have overindulged.  We will work with you to handle the situation as best we can. Ideally, we will find you a safe ride home, or to get you some food or water until you’re feeling better. All patrons who are identified will need to be checked out of the event by EMS, Security & Event Manager.  We understand this is a beer festival, but we ask you to please drink responsibly and have a safe & sober way home.

  • Ejections

Disruptive and problem Guests should be reported to event staff or security personnel immediately. Ejected Guests must vacate Festival property.

  • Firearms / Weapons

Guests are prohibited from bringing weapons into the Festival.

  • Lost and Found

Items found before, during, or after an event should be turned into the main ticketing area. Items will then be turned into Radiate Live, logged in and kept at the office for 30 days. Items may be passed to the local authority, donated to charity or disposed of at the discretion of management after 30 days.

  • Panhandling / Soliciting

Panhandling is not allowed at the Festival. Only Festival Authorized Vendors and Sponsors will be permitted in the event area.

  • Projectiles

The throwing of projectiles inside the Event area is prohibited.


Reds, Whites & Brews Day of Event Parking & Transportation Options

  • Parking:  There is parking allowed along Lake St., W. Beaver Creek Blvd., and at the Avon Recreation Center.  There is limited parking in both the US Bank and 1stBank parking lots in Avon for Reds Whites & Brews attendees.  Both lots will open up for parking at 1 p.m.  Please do not park in any unauthorized parking lots or you will risk being town at the owner's expense.
  • Taxis: Taxis can drop off and pick up guests at the bus stop on Lake Street in front of the Harry A Nottingham Park.  High Mountain Taxi - 970-524-5555, www.hmtaxi.com & Vail Taxi - 970-977-0028, www.vailtaxiservice.com
  • Uber: Note from UBER Blog as of 12/2/14 - Uber is launching service in the Rockies starting this Thanksgiving Weekend! Service will be available in Summit County (Keystone & Breckenridge), Eagle County (Vail & Beaver Creek) and  Aspen/Snowmass. Whether you’re in Aspen for a weekend getaway, or around Vail for a day of skiing the slopes, Uber is the way to travel. Demand is going to be high! Please make sure to keep requesting if no SUVs are available! SUVs will come open all the time.
  • Walk/Bike:

We will have volunteers helping walkers and bikers cross main roads through Avon and the event area.  Please be mindful of these volunteers as they help you cross safely.

  • Bus:

We will be offering free "Safe Ride Home" EcoTransit ride passes for up to 1000 attendees.  Please pick up your ticket at the event exit when departing the event.  Attendees can be picked up at the Avon Station stop.  Buses will run every half hour thorough 6:17 p.m. and then hourly on the Hwy 6 route servicing Edwards, Eagle-Vail, & Vail.  The Valley Express Route will run every hour and a half servicing Vail, Eagle, & Gypsum.  Get more information here.

  • 7:05 pm drop at Woody’s in Edwards
  • 7:20 pm drop at Burger King in Eagle
  • 7:25 pm drop at Dusty Boot in Eagle
 Drinking & Driving:

For your safety & the safety of others, The Town of Avon has a ZERO tolerance drinking and driving policy.  Please do not plan on driving if you will be drinking at the event.  If you are drinking at the event, please use one of the options above to get home or have a designated driver!

  • What Breweries & Wineries will be there?  - Local, regional, and national breweries (20 total) and international wineries (over 20).
  • Can I purchase beer or wine from the breweries and wineries at the Festival? - No. Colorado law does not allow purchasing 6-packs, growlers, bottles or others at this event. You cannot leave the event area with alcohol.
  • I just want to hang out – can I buy a full beer or drink at the event? -  No. If you’d like to drink at the event, you must participate in the tasting. There are great restaurants in Avon that you can purchase a drink at outside of event grounds.  Find a full list at www.avon.org.
  • Will they run out of beer & wine? - It’s possible they’ll run out of a certain kinds of brews or wines, especially the most popular kinds, but beer & wine will be available until the end of the event.
  • What else is there to do? - Live music, eat, shop at vendor booths & lawn games.
  • Will there be free water available at the event? - Yes
  • Are there drinks other than beer? - Vendors will have sodas & water for sale.
  • What food vendors will be there? - Yes, 5 total.  Original Funky Fries, Ekahi Grill, Southern Spoonful, Expert Burger, & Nodoru.
  • What retail vendors will be there? - TBA
  • What will the live entertainment be? - Live music from some of Nashville's best singer-songwriters including Kristen Kelly, Alyssa Moreno, Hailey Steele, and Karla Davis.
