Angry about snow removal: The Record for Saturday, Feb. 10

12:09 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Steamboat Drive and Harbor Place.

12:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a noise complaint in the 2500 block of Apres Ski Way. Officers spoke to the hosts of a party, who decided to shut down the festivities.

12:32 a.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers arrested a person on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. The person was also cited for speeding 5 to 9 miles per hour over the limit. A second person was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and violating a protection order.

1:10 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to assist a person with chest pain at a hotel in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.

1:30 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a drunken person who passed out on a bus at the Gondola Transit Center. The person was arrested for violating a bail requirement that said he or she could not consume alcohol.

9:32 a.m. Deputies were called to an incident of an animal bite in the 27300 block of Brandon Circle.

2:25 p.m. Officers were called to a reported disturbance in the 1500 block of Longthong Road. A person was upset about the way property managers were removing snow, as they had surrounded his vehicle with plywood. The vehicle had no damage.

4:16 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to assist a person who was unconscious in the 300 block of Myers Street in Oak Creek.

5:50 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a reported gas leak in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

6:52 p.m. Steamboat firefighters assisted someone who suffered a traumatic injury at the Steamboat Springs Public Safety Building.

7:01 p.m. Deputies received a complaint about fireworks.

7:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two people who were on the roof and refused to get down at a bar in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:40 p.m. Oak Creek and Steamboat firefighters were called to assist a man with an excessive nosebleed in the 200 block of South Sharp Street in Oak Creek.

9:41 p.m. Deputies were called to a suspicious vehicle near Routt County Road 14 and Hunt Horse Lane.

10:34 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue were called to a search near the Buffalo Pass Trailhead.

11:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person on a Steamboat Springs Transit bus. The person didn’t know where he or she was. Officers found a sober friend who agreed to take care of the person.
