Malone has spent five non-consecutive weeks atop the chart. While new releases like DaBaby\u2019s <\/span><i><span>Kirk <\/span><\/i><span>or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/kanye-west\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kanye-west\" data-tag=\"kanye-west\">Kanye West<\/a>\u2019s <\/span><i><span>Jesus Is King <\/span><\/i><span>have <\/span><span>temporarily overtaken <\/span><i><span>Hollywood\u2019s Bleeding<\/span><\/i><span>, those projects lost steam quickly after enjoying a big opening week. In contrast, Malone\u2019s album just keeps racking up streams \u2014 earning another 87.7 million last week \u2014 allowing him to repeatedly return to Number One.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Two previous Number Ones, <\/span><i><span>Jesus Is King <\/span><\/i><span>and Youngboy Never Broke Again\u2019s <\/span><i><span>AI Youngboy 2<\/span><\/i><span>, were Malone\u2019s only competition this week. West earned nearly 73,000 album-equivalent units, driven mostly by 64.4 million streams. Youngboy Never Broke Again out-streamed West (82.4 million streams) but failed to match his sales number, leading him to take the chart\u2019s Number Three spot.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/charts\/albums\/\"><i><span>Rolling Stone<\/span><\/i><\/a><span> 200 Albums chart tracks the most popular releases of the week in the United States. Entries are ranked by album units, a number that combines digital and physical album sales, digital song sales, and audio streams using a custom weighting system. The chart does not include passive listening such as terrestrial radio or digital radio. The <\/span><i><span>Rolling Stone<\/span><\/i><span> 200 Albums chart is updated daily, and each week <\/span><i><span>Rolling Stone <\/span><\/i><span>finalizes and publishes an official version of the chart, covering the seven-day period ending with the previous Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <!-- .l-article-content__pull--left --> <\/p>\n<p><span>The biggest debut on the latest <\/span><i><span>RS <\/span><\/i><span>200 belonged to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/miranda-lambert\/\" id=\"auto-tag_miranda-lambert\" data-tag=\"miranda-lambert\">Miranda Lambert<\/a>: <\/span><i><span>Wildcard <\/span><\/i><span>arrived at Number Six. Sales accounted for more than 75 percent of her 38,900 album-equivalent units, but Lambert\u2019s 14-song release amassed only around 10 million streams total. Consumption of country albums is often skewed towards sales in this manner \u2014 the genre still does not stream as much as others.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Contrast Lambert\u2019s numbers with those of Rod Wave\u2019s <\/span><i><span>Ghetto Gospel<\/span><\/i><span>, which enjoyed the second-highest debut of any album this week. Rod Wave amassed 24.8 million streams, more than twice as many as Lambert. But he barely sold any downloads \u2014 651 copies \u2014 so <em>Wildcard<\/em> easily beat <i>Ghetto Gospel<\/i> on the chart.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Three other albums debuted in the Top 40 this week.
