The film debuted on Tuesday via the newly launched Disney+ streaming service, alongside the <em>Lady and the Tramp<\/em> soundtrack.<\/p>\n<p>Mon\u00e1e voices the Peg the Pekingese character in the film. Her \u201cHe\u2019s a Tramp\u201d rendition opens with a slinky bass line, whereas Peggy Lee\u2019s original features a romping piano melody. The new version also features less dog bark parts, but otherwise it\u2019s a fairly faithful reading.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GA0FOwDwJQo?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In addition to \u201cHe\u2019s a Tramp,\u201d Mon\u00e1e penned an original song for the movie called \u201cThat\u2019s Enough.\u201d She also co-wrote \u201cWhat a Shame\u201d with Wondaland\u2019s Nate \u201cRocket\u201d Wonder and Roman GianArthur. The song replaces the \u201cThe Siamese Cat Song\u201d that appears in the 1955 original film.<\/p>\n<p>Along with <em>Lady and the Tramp<\/em>, Mon\u00e1e appears in the recently released biopic, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/movies\/movie-reviews\/harriet-movie-review-cynthia-erivo-904562\/\">Harriet<\/a>, <\/em>starring alongside Cynthia Erivo, who portrays freedom fighter Harriet Tubman.
