The gold-plated invite for the show (designed by Nick Knight) also lists music from Peter Colins &amp; Infinities Song, although it\u2019s possible the latter is a typo for Infinity\u2019s Song, a family band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox19.com\/2019\/09\/16\/kanye-makes-surprise-appearance-batesville-support-fellow-musicians\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">West has supported<\/a> in recent months.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"4.3404255319149\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Invite artwork by Nick Knight <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/U7IBqe1Gxk\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/U7IBqe1Gxk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ye (@kanyewest) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kanyewest\/status\/1196204600090513408?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">November 17, 2019<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">On <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HollywoodBowl\/status\/1196207383296430080\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Twitter<\/a>, the Hollywood Bowl confirmed the <i>Nebuchadnezzar <\/i>opera and said tickets will go on sale Monday, November 18th, at noon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It\u2019s unclear whether West\u2019s <i>Nebuchadnezzar <\/i>opera will retell the story of the Babylonian king and biblical character, or if it was just inspired by his story. In his recent interview with Zane Lowe, West brought up Nebuchadnezzar and explained how parts of his story resonated with him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cNebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon, and he looked at his entire kingdom and said, \u2018I did this.\u2019 And God said, \u2018Oh, for real? You did this?\u2019 Sounds kind of similar, right? I\u2019m standing on the tip of the mountain talking about <i>Yeezus<\/i>. Saying, \u2018I did this!\u2019 That I\u2019m a god! And I could talk to Jesus at the end of my show. I had a guy dressed up as Jesus, at the end of my show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QuOCvKvrwI8?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">West also said that Nebuchadnezzar, like himself, was diagnosed with bipolar disease (although that term isn\u2019t used in the Bible, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Daniel+4&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">chapter four of the Book of Daniel<\/a>, Nebuchadnezzar has a dream where a holy messenger says, \u201cLet his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal,\u201d and indeed the king is humbled, and lives the next seven years like an animal in the forest).<\/p>\n<p><!-- .l-article-content__pull--left --> <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cNebuchadnezzar was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and he was still king,\u201d West said. \u201cSo not only was I diagnosed with mental illness, but mental illness was something that was used to\u2026to wash me out, to control me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">West\u2019s <i>Nebuchadnezzar<\/i> opera follows the release of his latest album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/kanye-wests-jesus-is-king-904921\/\"><i>Jesus Is King<\/i><\/a>, and its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kanye-west-james-turrell-jesus-is-king-film-roden-crater-904893\/\">accompanying IMAX film<\/a> of the same name. On Sunday, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/music\/kanye-west-calls-himself-greatest-artist-that-god-has-ever-created\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">West also appeared<\/a> at the megachurch of pastor Joel Osteen, where he said, \u201cI told you about my arrogance and cockiness already.
