Jeff Goldblum<\/a> and Sharon Van Etten<\/a> performed their classy jazz collaboration, \u201cLet\u2019s Face the Music and Dance,\u201d<\/a> on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a><\/i>. The duo\u2019s take on the 1936 Irving Berlin song appears on I Shouldn\u2019t Be Telling You This<\/em>, Goldblum\u2019s recently issued second album with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere may be trouble ahead,\u201d Van Etten croons in a wide vibrato over Goldblum\u2019s unobtrusive piano. \u201cBut while there\u2019s music and moonlight and love and romance\/Let\u2019s face the music and dance.\u201d The arrangement swells from there into organ and tenor sax solos.<\/p>\n

I Shouldn\u2019t Be Telling You This<\/em> \u2014 which follows the actor-musician\u2019s debut LP, 2018\u2019s The Capitol Studios Sessions<\/em><\/a> \u2014 also features guest vocals from Fiona Apple, Miley Cyrus and Anna Calvi, among others.<\/p>\n

Van Etten, who has toured throughout the year<\/a>, will promote her Remind Me Tomorrow<\/em><\/a> LP with a newly announced run of 2020 North American dates. That leg \u2014 which follows a pair of December shows in Chicago and a spot at Wilco\u2019s Sky Blue Sky Festival<\/a> \u2014 kicks off April 17th in Baltimore, Maryland and wraps April 28th in Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n
