(see below). But you can catch the second half of the show, \u201cSunset,\u201d live Friday at 9 a.m. (above). The two parts line up with the local sunrise and sunset in Amman, Jordan; Coldplay are performing there for the first time in honor of the album\u2019s Middle Eastern influences.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NFf2VFREkZo?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This week, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin announced that the band is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/coldplay-pause-tour-environment-carbon-emissions-915764\/\">holding off on touring<\/a>&nbsp;<em>Everyday Life<\/em> over environmental concerns. Following similar efforts from artists such as Billie Eilish and The 1975, the band aims to make their shows and transportation carbon-neutral and reduce plastic waste generated at the venues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe hardest thing is the flying side of things,\u201d Martin explained to BBC News. \u201cBut, for example, our dream is to have a show with no single use plastic, to have it largely solar powered. We\u2019ve done a lot of big tours at this point. How do we turn it around so it\u2019s not so much taking as giving?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coldplay have one more show scheduled, a charity event at London\u2019s Natural History Museum on November 25th.
