Jepsen and her five-piece backing band performed three songs from the artist\u2019s latest album, <em>Dedicated<\/em>, and were all smiles throughout the set.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the most direct song, to the nose, to the point,\u201d Jepsen said cheekily when introducing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/carly-rae-jepsen-want-you-in-my-room-music-video-885664\/\">\u201cWant You in My Room.\u201d<\/a> \u201cIt is a very \u2018come hither\u2019 song\u2026you\u2019ll see what I mean,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian singer and performer also led a jazzy rendition of her <em>Queer Eye<\/em> theme song <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/carly-rae-jepsen-now-that-i-found-you-cat-music-video-807995\/\">\u201cNow That I Found You,\u201d<\/a> as well as the&nbsp;<em>Dedicated<\/em> album cut <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/carly-rae-jepsen-the-sound-live-video-901089\/\">\u201cThe Sound.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>After rising to fame through the viral hit \u201cCall Me Maybe\u201d in 2011, Jepsen garnered critical acclaim and a cult fanbase with her 2015 album <em>Emotion<\/em><em>. <\/em>Her follow-up LP,&nbsp;<em>Dedicated<\/em>, was released in May of this year, and described by Jepsen as an \u201cunderstated disco\u201d record. (Its working title was&nbsp;<em>Music to Clean Your House to<\/em>.)
