{"id":973766,"date":"2019-11-28T03:03:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-28T10:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rocksound.tv\/news\/read\/a-day-to-remember-delayed-their-album-release-because-the-art-for-the-recor"},"modified":"2019-11-28T03:03:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-28T10:03:00","slug":"a-day-to-remember-delayed-their-album-release-because-the-art-for-the-record-isnt-done-yet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kfmu\/music-news\/a-day-to-remember-delayed-their-album-release-because-the-art-for-the-record-isnt-done-yet\/","title":{"rendered":"A Day To Remember Delayed Their Album Release Because \u201cThe Art For The Record Isn\u2019t Done Yet\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"excerpt\" readability=\"7\">\n<p><em>\u201cWe still can\u2019t find a good cover for the record.&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; Kevin Skaff.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt src=\"https:\/\/www.rocksound.tv\/assets\/uploads\/adaytoremember_2019.png\"><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month,&nbsp;<strong>A Day To Remember<\/strong>&nbsp;announced a delay on the release of their upcoming album &#8216;You&#8217;re Welcome&#8217;, which was initially set for release November 15.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a short statement to fans posted on Twitter, A Day To Remember shared that the process had&nbsp;<em>&#8220;taken a little longer than expected&#8221;<\/em>&nbsp;and that they <em>&#8220;just aren&#8217;t done with it yet&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, they shared that it will now see the light of day in early 2020 &#8211; however they haven&#8217;t actually specified a release date yet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now some more light has been shed on the reason for the delay by lead guitarist Kevin Skaff in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/soundcloud.com\/wsou\/a-day-to-remember-interview#t=0:00\">WSOU<\/a>, and it turns out that it&#8217;s the artwork for &#8216;You&#8217;re Welcome&#8217; that&#8217;s delayed the process.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt got pushed back because the art for the record isn\u2019t done yet,\u201d<\/em> Kevin shared. <em>\u201cWe still can\u2019t find a good cover for the record. I know it doesn\u2019t really matter nowadays with streaming and everything, but we just want everything to be perfect before it comes out.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201c<em>And there are still a couple of songs that are still getting mixed that we just need to find the right mixer. It\u2019s only getting pushed back &#8211; what? Two, two and a half months, so it\u2019s not too bad.
