The pair created the clip, titled \u201cSoundtrack to a Christmas Love Story,\u201d using nine sets and only one take.<\/p>\n<p>The segment opens with Musgraves dressed as an elf working in a Christmas shop singing \u201cJingle Bell Rock\u201d (presumably inspired by <em>Last Christmas<\/em>). As she puts on her coat and leaves the shop she runs into Corden, who sings Justin Bieber\u2019s \u201cMistletoe.\u201d As their love story continues the pair also croon \u201cWonderful Christmastime,\u201d \u201cI Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus\u201d and Elvis\u2019 \u201cBlue Christmas.\u201d Musgraves also brings in her own holiday track \u201cChristmas Makes Me Cry\u201d and there\u2019s even an homage to <em>Love, Actually<\/em> in the midst of the dramatic tale.<\/p>\n<p>Musgraves recently unveiled <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-country\/kacey-musgraves-christmas-amazon-review-919760\/\">The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show<\/a>,&nbsp;<\/em>an Amazon Prime Video holiday special executive produced by Musgraves with Ben Winston, Emma Conway and Jason Owen. The feature was narrated by&nbsp;<em>Schitt\u2019s Creek<\/em> star Dan Levy, and also features Corden, Camila Cabello, Zooey Deschanel, Lana Del Rey and the Radio City Rockettes.
