She wants this person to keep being honest with her, even when she doesn\u2019t handle it well. \u201cYou don\u2019t run away when I\u2019m acting ugly,\u201d she delivers on the second verse. \u201cNo, you never sugarcoat and that\u2019s why you\u2019re the greatest.\u201d The video features a single shot of Cameron, who sings directly to the camera while stripping off a red jacket.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so stoked to finally release \u2018Out of Touch,\u201d Cameron wrote in a statement. \u201cIt was the very first track I recorded at the start of this new music era, and still one of my favorites that I have done so far. It\u2019s a big step toward finding my sound as a new artist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cameron launched her pop career in September with the songs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/dove-cameron-new-music-waste-bloodshot-889899\/\">\u201cWaste\u201d and \u201cBloodshot.\u201d<\/a> She had previously released music with her Disney projects like&nbsp;<em>Liv and Maddie<\/em> and&nbsp;<em>Descendants<\/em>. \u201cI do get the sense that I can feel a little bit far away from even my fans I have now, and I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s because of a highly glossy image,\u201d she told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/dove-cameron-disney-new-music-interview-890207\/\"><em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> upon her new music being released. \u201cI do think this music opens up more of who I really am.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/dove-cameron-out-of-touch-new-video-923218\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Rolling Stone<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dove Cameron is out with \u201cOut of Touch,\u201d her fourth new song this year and the first she recorded for this slate of tracks.
