{"id":973948,"date":"2019-12-09T13:42:49","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T20:42:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=924282"},"modified":"2019-12-09T13:42:49","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T20:42:49","slug":"lenny-kravitz-calls-for-unity-in-here-to-love-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kfmu\/music-news\/lenny-kravitz-calls-for-unity-in-here-to-love-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Lenny Kravitz Calls for Unity in \u2018Here to Love\u2019 Video"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/lenny.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/lenny-kravitz\/\">Lenny Kravitz<\/a> has partnered with the UN Human Rights Office for his latest music video, \u201cHere to Love,\u201d taking a stand against racism, xenophobia and discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>The clip \u2014 created by Kravitz in his directorial debut \u2014 shows a multitude of people of different races, genders, religions and backgrounds, each standing in front of the camera one-by-one and then all together as a testament to human diversity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018The Here to Love\u2019 video is a procession of humanity, showing our beautiful differences while celebrating our oneness,\u201d Kravitz said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The video is part of the UN Human Rights Office\u2019s new campaign #FightRacism, and \u201cHere to Love\u201d will serve as the campaign\u2019s theme song; Kravitz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standup4humanrights.org\/en\/2019\/highlights_12.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">announced the partnership<\/a> last month.<\/p>\n<p>A longer version of \u201cHere to Love\u201d originally appeared on Kravitz\u2019 2018 album&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/review-lenny-kravitz-lends-his-voice-to-the-resistance-on-raise-vibration-720021\/\"><em>Raise Vibration<\/em><\/a>. The Grammy-winning singer and musician has released the edited version of the track as a single in anticipation of Human Rights Day on December 10th.<\/p>\n<p>Kravitz will be heading out on the road in New Zealand and Europe next spring as part of the Here to Love Tour.
