Vampire Weekend<\/a> enlisted a children\u2019s choir to help them mash up their song, \u201cHarmony Hall,\u201d with the Vince Guaraldi Trio\u2019s holiday staple \u201cChristmas Time Is Here\u201d on The Late Late Show With James Corden<\/a><\/i> Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The performance opened with the choir singing the refrain from \u201cChristmas Time Is Here,\u201d ending on an airy note that proved to be the perfect lead in for the \u201cHarmony Hall\u201d guitar riff. The kids continued to bolster the rollicking Father of the Bride <\/i><\/a>track, even taking a whole chorus solo before the rest of Vampire Weekend joined back in to bring the song to its close.<\/p>\n

Vampire Weekend released Father of the Bride <\/i>back in May, marking their first LP since 2013\u2019s Modern Vampires of the City<\/i>, as well as their first without Rostam Batmanglij, who left the group in 2016. The album recently earned Grammy nods<\/a> for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album, while \u201cHarmony Hall\u201d is up for Best Rock Song.<\/p>\n

Vampire Weekend have a string of international dates scheduled for this winter and next spring, but they\u2019ll kick off another North American tour<\/a> May 28th in Burlington, Vermont.<\/p>\n
