The track is from her upcoming album <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kesha-high-road-trailer-901577\/\"><em>High Road<\/em><\/a>, out January 31st.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cResentment\u201d visual is a simple, two-minute clip, self-shot by Kesha on her iPhone and paired with a VHS filter. It shows the pop star breaking down and confronting her inner demons in a hotel room, as the song plays over her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResentment\u201d was co-written by Kesha, Wrabel, Madi Diaz, and Jamie Floyd, and produced by John Hill. On her collaborators, Kesha said, \u201cBrian Wilson is one of my personal musical heroes, so when he said he would collaborate with me on the recording\u2026that moment was one of the most exciting in my career. Then add in Sturgill who I respect and admire so much, as well as my close friend the insanely talented songwriter Wrabel, and this record felt more like a dream than just another song to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kesha previously released the&nbsp;<em>High Road<\/em> singles <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kesha-drops-my-own-dance-video-915772\/\">\u201cMy Own Dance,\u201d<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kesha-raising-hell-video-903064\/\">\u201cRaising Hell,\u201d<\/a> which featured Big Freedia. Kesha and Big Freedia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/kesha-big-freedia-raising-hell-amas-2019-916922\/\">performed the track<\/a> at the American Music Awards in November.
