Usher<\/a> has released a new song, \u201cDon\u2019t Waste My Time,\u201d featuring British singer Ella Mai<\/a>. The track, co-produced by Bryan-Michael Cox and Jermaine Dupri, is a smooth-talking R&B pop number.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood lovin\u2019, no questions,\u201d Usher croons on the hooky track. \u201cReach out, and you\u2019ll touch me\/ Bad habits, don\u2019t judge me\/ Just don\u2019t waste my time.\u201d Mai jumps in midway through the song with her own verse as the pair trade off lyrics.<\/p>\n

Usher\u2019s last release was A<\/em><\/a>, an eight-track album he dropped as a surprise last year. The effort followed his 2016 solo album Hard II Love<\/a> <\/i>and was a collaboration with Atlanta rap producer Zaytoven. Mai\u2019s self-titled debut album<\/a> dropped last year as well, following the success of her R&B-inspired single \u201cBoo\u2019d Up.\u201d \u201cR&B is not dead,\u201d Mai told Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe can make it mainstream again. Clearly, people love it.\u201d<\/p>\n
