Ja Rule<\/a> has shared a new track titled \u201cFyre\u201d that is inspired by the rapper\u2019s role<\/a> in the disastrous<\/a> Fyre Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Released Friday to Ja Rule\u2019s Instagram page, the song is an acronym for \u201cFor Your Real Entertainment.\u201d Ja Rule details the disaster behind the now-infamous Bahamas festival on the track, which samples the backdrop of the instrumental portion of Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick\u2019s 1985 song, \u201cThe Show.\u201d The single\u2019s artwork also boasts a drawing of the festival\u2019s viral cheese sandwich<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fest\u2014the festival is on fire\/We don\u2019t need no water, make that motherfucker hotter,\u201d Rule raps. \u201cHotter than the sun, but it wasn\u2019t that\/Show of hands if you got your money back?\/Just playing, I got sued for that\/100 mil to be exact.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFYRE\u201d comes soon after Ja Rule was dismissed from a lawsuit surrounding Fyre Festival in November. A judge cleared Ja Rule and denied Fyre festival attendees\u2019 appeal to name the rapper in a $100 million class-action lawsuit filed against Fyre Festival co-founder Billy McFarland and other officials. In a statement to AllHipHop<\/em><\/a>, Rule\u2019s lawyer Ryan Hayden Smith said, \u201cThis ruling is nothing short of a total vindication of [Ja Rule].\u201d<\/p>\n

Ja Rule ruminated on the optics of being associated with the disastrous festival in the Bahamas in the track where he raps: \u201cIn the people\u2019s court, baby they\u2019ll hang ya, like their ancestors\/Full sabotage, it ain\u2019t fraud.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to his Instagram post, Rule\u2019s forthcoming album 12.Twelve.XII<\/em> has a new release date of February 29th; the album was originally slated to come out December 12th.<\/p>\n
