Horan delivered a confidently charming performance of the Brit-pop track with a backdrop of neon blue lights.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the show, the musician returned to Studio 8H in all black for a more subdued performance of his heartfelt ballad \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/niall-horan-put-a-little-love-on-me-923132\/\">Put a Little Love on Me<\/a>,\u201d accompanied by a piano and a violin.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eBBeYkGRq_w?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Horan also appeared in the sketch \u201cHot Tub Christmas,\u201d where he played a cigarette smoking, sideburn-sporting ghost named \u201cBig Jim\u201d alongside Johansson and Cecily Strong, who played the ghosts of dead strippers. Together, they haunt a hot tub singing a bizarrely catchy song recalling how a hot tub accident led to their deaths.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" type=\"text\/html\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GeqjFSIyeNc?version=3&amp;enablejsapi=1&amp;origin=https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Of Horan\u2019s latest single \u201cPut a Little Love on Me,\u201d which he dropped in early December, he <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NiallOfficial\/status\/1202779146126024705\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cJust wanted to release this song because I feel like it deserves to be released and I want you to have it now,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NiallOfficial\/status\/1202823153657040896\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">later adding<\/a>, \u201cI\u2019m jet lagged out of my mind but I couldn\u2019t not stay up to see your reaction to this song. I love this song and I\u2019m glad it\u2019s yours now, can\u2019t wait to play it live on tour for ya!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Starting April 20th, Horan will head out on his 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/niall-horan-nice-to-meet-ya-north-american-tour-dates-906067\/\">Nice To Meet Ya world tour<\/a>, kicking off at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Stops on the tour include Barclays Center in New York on April 29th and the Forum in Los Angeles on May 18th.
