The concert, held at New York\u2019s Bowery Ballroom in support of the Joe Strummer Foundation, saw the pair joining forces offer their own version of the punk song.<\/p>\n<p>In the clip, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/blondie\/\" id=\"auto-tag_blondie\" data-tag=\"blondie\">Blondie<\/a> frontwoman sings the lines of Kirsty MacColl while Malin steps in for Shane Macgowan with the help of a backing band. The song was presented in honor of Strummer\u2019s brief stint in The Pogues in the \u201990s.<\/p>\n<p>Harry released her memoir, <em>Face It<\/em>, earlier this year. \u201cWell, at this stage in the game I feel like I\u2019ve had a really, really far out experience,\u201d the singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/debbie-harry-face-it-interview-902439\/\">told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> after its release. \u201cAnd I\u2019ve done a lot of really interesting things, and I\u2019m very fortunate to make music. As Joe E. Brown says at the end of <em>Some Like it Hot<\/em>, \u2018nobody\u2019s perfect.\u2019 And nobody\u2019s life is perfect, and as much as it may look like somebody else\u2019s life is perfect from the outside, there\u2019s always some crap to deal with on the inside.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u201cSo I don\u2019t know, I\u2019ve had great, happy times and I\u2019ve had some confusion. I kept going somehow and I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s from stubbornness or stupidity, but both those words start with an \u2018st.\u2019 You know, I mean is anybody\u2019s life all happy or all sad?&nbsp;It\u2019s impossible. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s over yet. I&nbsp;feel like saying&nbsp;to everybody&nbsp;<em>\u201cNot dead yet!
