So enamored are they that the roadblock isn\u2019t an annoyance, it\u2019s a \u201ctrain of love,\u201d and its motion becomes part of the song \u2014 a quirky vocalization, \u201cclick, clack, clickity-clack.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEternity\u201d comes off of Neil Young and Crazy Horse\u2019s October album, <em>Colorado<\/em>, Young\u2019s first with Crazy Horse since 2012. It\u2019s an exquisitely ramshackle record that sounds like everyone\u2019s playing broken instruments on the back of a rusted truck in a way that\u2019s vibrant, raw and enchanting. The album was accompanied by the release of a documentary film, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/neil-young-and-crazy-horse-truth-kills-901976\/\">Mountaintop<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re all on the same page and doing it for the same reason \u2014 to serve the music,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/entertainment\/music\/info-2019\/neil-youngs-new-crazy-horse-album-colorado.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Young told the AARP<\/a> of working with Crazy Horse again. \u201cWe\u2019re not going to make a crappy record after being together for 50 years. This record is not that different from what we sounded like 50 years ago. There\u2019s still that spark of youth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>2020 looks to be a jam-packed year for Young. He\u2019s asking fans to choose which music he should release via his archives in the coming years, offering up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/neil-young-fans-next-archival-release-920226\/\">29 possibilities<\/a>. This proposed glut of content is likely tied to a fan\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/neil-young-archives-2020-910631\/\">76-year-old Uncle Eddie<\/a>, who told Young that Eddie was worried he would die before hearing all of the musician\u2019s work.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pmc-contextual-player\">\n<h3> Popular on Rolling Stone <\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt will have everything I\u2019ve done at the highest level possible in chronological order,\u201d Young told the AARP. \u201cI\u2019m making it for myself, number one, and for anyone else who cares. I love protecting the music and I don\u2019t care if I make money. There\u2019s so much material. Between the <em>Ragged Glory<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Weld<\/em>&nbsp;albums, I did a one-off show with Crazy Horse in Santa Cruz, recorded it with six cameras and the best digital available at that time. We did three sets and an encore. It may be the best live performance of Crazy Horse ever captured, and I just found it.
