Barack Obama<\/a> shared a characteristically comprehensive list of his favorite songs of 2019, including selections from Beyonc\u00e9, Bruce Springsteen, Rosal\u00eda, Frank Ocean, Maggie Rogers, Big Thief and more.<\/p>\n

The former president shared his picks on social media along with the note, \u201cFrom hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year. If you\u2019re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there\u2019s a track or two in here that does the trick.\u201d Obama\u2019s songs are also available to listen to as a Spotify<\/a> playlist.<\/p>\n

Obama\u2019s list traipses across the musical spectrum: There\u2019s \u201cRedesigning Women\u201d from the country supergroup the Highwomen next to Nigerian superstar Burna Boy\u2019s \u201cAnybody\u201d \u2014 while elsewhere he singles out rising R&B star Summer Walker\u2019s \u201cPlaying Games,\u201d \u201cNot\u201d by indie darlings Big Thief and Indian singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad\u2019s \u201cCold\/Mess.\u201d Other selections include DaBaby\u2019s \u201cSuge,\u201d Bruce Springsteen\u2019s \u201cHello Sunshine,\u201d Mavis Staples\u2019 \u201cChange,\u201d J. Cole\u2019s \u201cMiddle Child,\u201d Frank Ocean\u2019s \u201cIn My Room,\u201d Dominic Fike\u2019s \u201c3 Nights\u201d and Ozuna\u2019s all-star \u201cBaila Baila Baila\u201d remix with Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Farruko and Anuel AA.<\/p>\n
