Surviving Beastie Boys Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz both contribute new text to the photo book, with Jonze penning the afterword.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-933631\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/9780847868384.jpg?w=368\" alt width=\"368\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWhen they met for the first time in Los Angeles in 1993, the Beastie Boys and Spike Jonze were rising stars of their respective fields \u2013 the golden ages of both east coast hip hop and MTV.
