Sharon Osbourne<\/a> stated this week that her husband Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> is working on a song with Elton John<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On her show, The Talk<\/em>, Sharon laid out Ozzy\u2019s plans for the year: \u201cA lot of good things. Wellness. And to get back with his band, to get doing what he loves, which is touring and being out there with his fans. And yes, there\u2019s new music, and it\u2019s great. He\u2019s got all his friends playing on it. He\u2019s doing a song with Elton. There\u2019s so much good stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Black Sabbath frontman began 2019 with health setbacks, forcing him to cancel five shows<\/a> and postpone the UK and European leg of his tour<\/a>. But after collaborating with Post Malone on his last album, Hollywood\u2019s Bleeding<\/em> \u2014 Ozzy appears on the single \u201cTake What You Want\u201d<\/a> alongside Travis Scott \u2014 he was inspired to record a new solo album, his first in 10 years. The LP, Ordinary Man<\/em>, was produced with Post Malone\u2019s frequent collaborator, Andrew Watt, and is set for release this February, with two<\/a> singles<\/a> out so far.<\/p>\n

Sharon did not say whether the Elton John collaboration will appear on Ordinary Man<\/em> or as a separate release. Confirmed guests on the album include Guns N\u2019 Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan, as well as Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.<\/p>\n
