Appearing with his backing band, Rateliff let his acoustic guitar and crooning voice lead the way with the emotional number.<\/p>\n<p>Rateliff will release his solo album <em>And It\u2019s Still Alright<\/em>, a follow-up to Nathaniel Rateliff &amp; the Night Sweats\u2019 2018 album <em>Tearing at the Seams,&nbsp;<\/em>on February 14th via Stax Records. The musician wrote the upcoming songs without the Night Sweats and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/nathaniel-rateliff-interview-solo-album-and-its-still-alright-934066\/\">told <em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> in a recent interview that it was nice to go back to the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was always drawn to do a record that maybe no one\u2019s going to love, but you do it because it\u2019s important to you,\u201d Rateliff said. \u201cThat\u2019s what I really love about Harry Nilsson. He always just did what he wanted to do in a world where everything needs to be some sort of commodity for the industry. It\u2019s nice to be able to just write songs because you\u2019d like the idea of writing songs and being able to work through your own shit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of the album\u2019s title, he added, \u201cIt ties the record together. It\u2019s a struggle to grow and you end up stranded on the ledge and burying people you care about. But when you really look at it, I\u2019m still alive, everything\u2019s still good in my life regardless of hardship and what\u2019s been happening.
