After the election, she&nbsp;set off for Haiti to partake in the song summit that produced <i>Let the Rhythm Lead<\/i> (the title itself is a nod to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/photo\/2016\/11\/supermoon-2016\/507605\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">supermoon that hung in the sky<\/a> not long after the election). The song is accompanied by a video that finds Lewis, Koit\u00e9 and others traveling around Haiti and performing the song during a special bonfire celebration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In a statement, Lewis called \u201cUnder the Supermoon\u201d a \u201clove song written in Jacmel floating in the Caribbean sea under the supermoon of November 2016 just days after the U.S. presidential election\u2026 a travelogue of sorts processed in real time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cUnder the Supermoon\u201d follows previously released <i>Let the Rhythm Lead <\/i>cuts, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/jenny-lewis-jackson-browne-jonathan-wilson-team-for-lively-lape-lanmou-925552\/\">\u201cLap\u00e9 Lanmou\u201d<\/a> \u2014 which also features Lewis \u2014 and Jackson Browne\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/jackson-browne-love-is-love-video-haiti-920245\/\">\u201cLove Is Love.\u201d<\/a> The album also features contributions from Paul Beaubrun, Ra\u00fal Rodr\u00edguez, Jonathan Russell, Jonathan Wilson and members of the Haitian roots band Lakou Mizik.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Lewis released her most recent solo album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/review-jenny-lewis-on-on-the-line-811783\/\"><i>On the Line<\/i><\/a>, last March.
