Kesha<\/a> made her Late Show<\/em> debut Friday to perform her recent single \u201cRaising Hell\u201d with Big Freedia and salute the late David Bowie.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kesha\u2019s Late Show<\/em> appearance landed on the fourth anniversary of Bowie\u2019s January 10th, 2016 death, and the singer remembered the late icon with lightning bolt makeup reminiscent of Bowie\u2019s Aladdin Sane<\/em> look; the application took three hours, Kesha later revealed.<\/span><\/p>\n

During a wide-ranging interview that covered Kesha\u2019s celebrity crush (Dana Carvey), the singer\u2019s mother co-writing songs for Dolly Parton, the 10th anniversary of her debut LP Animal <\/em>and her upcoming album High Road<\/em>, Kesha also suggested that, \u201cin celebration of Bowie,\u201d she give Stephen Colbert a \u201csuper-fast\u201d makeover.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI would love to paint on your face,\u201d Kesha told Colbert. While quickly applying some of her new makeup line to the late-night show\u2019s face, Colbert cut to the commercial, with the \u201cfinished\u201d product revealed prior to \u201cRaising Hell\u201d performance:<\/span><\/p>\n
