These are serious, SERIOUS, heavy-duty players; the talent on this recording is pretty freaking insane \u2014 the sonic impact of Lee \u201cScratch\u201d Perry alone as an artist, producer, &amp; mixer on modern music itself, regardless of genre, simply cannot be overstated.&nbsp;It doesn\u2019t sound anything like my band, but that\u2019s the point of working with other musicians on different projects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saudade \u2014 a term in Portuguese used to describe longing and melancholy \u2014 consists of Deftones\u2019 Chino Moreno, bassist Chuck Doom, Bad Brains\u2019 Dr. Know, John Medeski (Medeski, Martin &amp; Wood), Cro-Mags and more. Their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/deftones-bad-brains-members-form-new-supergroup-90250\/\">self-titled debut single<\/a> was released in 2016.
