Hailee Steinfeld<\/a> has released a new single, \u201cI Love You\u2019s,\u201d inspired by Annie Lennox<\/a>\u2019s 1995 song \u201cNo More \u2018I Love You\u2019s.\u201d The song reworks Lennox\u2019s classic with Steinfeld singing, \u201cNo more I love you\u2019s until I\u2019m ok.\u201d<\/p>\n

The track is the lead single from Steinfeld\u2019s forthcoming two-part project. The five-track first part, which will include \u201cI Love You\u2019s\u201d as well as her recent single \u201cWrong Direction,\u201d<\/a> will arrive May 1st. The project\u2019s title and additional details are set to be revealed soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter going through a breakup, I decided I needed time to focus on myself and heal without the distractions of another relationship,\u201d Steinfeld said in a statement. \u201cThere\u2019s something really empowering about deciding what\u2019s best for you and putting yourself first. That\u2019s what this record is about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steinfeld dropped \u201cWrong Direction\u201d back in January. The song marked her first release since starring in the Apple TV+ series Dickinson<\/em><\/a>, where she plays a modernized version of a young Emily Dickinson. Steinfeld released a promotional single for the series called \u201cAfterlife\u201d<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

The musician and actress is slated to star<\/a> in a new romantic comedy from Bridget Jones\u2019 Diary<\/em> director Sharon Maguire, titled Voicemails for Isabelle<\/em>. She\u2019s also reportedly in early talks<\/a> to star alongside Jeremy Renner as Kate Bishop in Disney\u2019s upcoming Hawkeye<\/em> series.<\/p>\n
