The sequence fittingly ends with Stanfield\u2019s morose Rick telling Sam to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7vThuwa5RZU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">play the song<\/a> he wants to hear: \u201cFast Life.\u201d From there, the clip follows Stanfield and a romantic partner as they dance and argue around New York, primarily in Times Square, although at one point they appear on the same steps where the famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NgrM4_JMi9w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><i>Joker<\/i> dance<\/a> was filmed. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Stanfield released \u201cFast Life\u201d back in February and he\u2019s reportedly prepping a full-length project set to arrive at some point this year. In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gq.com\/story\/lakeith-stanfield-2020-interview-premiere\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><i>GQ<\/i><\/a>, Stanfield spoke about the scope of the songs he\u2019s working on, saying they touch on his struggles and successes in Hollywood, as well as issues like loss and grief.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cI feel like I have to be vulnerable about these things so I can grow,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd hopefully that\u2019ll inspire other people to do some self-therapy. Face your demons and the real things you\u2019re going through. Sometimes I try to walk through life without letting the trauma of my past affect me. But sometimes it still does.
