Grace Potter<\/a> delivered an all-star rendition of her song \u201cEachother\u201d for Friday\u2019s Late Show<\/em>, with the singer recruiting Jackson Browne<\/a>, Lucius<\/a> and Marcus King<\/a> for the socially distanced performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Potter debuted the new single two weeks ago \u2014 her first new music since 2019\u2019s Daylight<\/em> \u2014 and recaptured the collaboration for late-night, kicking off \u201cEachother\u201d solo before her guests entered the track one-by-one, with Marcus King handling the second verse and guitar solo, Browne singing the third verse and duo Lucius providing backing vocals throughout.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe chorus of the song just kind of exploded out of my heart all at once. It was about five days into the quarantine, and I had just gotten off the phone with a friend who was having a really tough time with the isolation,\u201d Potter previously said of the track in a statement.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was in our living room, watching my son & husband fixing our broken train set and found myself flooded with an overwhelming sense of gratitude & contentment. The onset of COVID-19 was a shock to humanity\u2019s system and has brought on so many reality checks. We may not all be affected in the same ways, but we are all going through this pandemic together as a human race. It is incredibly humbling. It\u2019s invited me to really take account of the things that matter most, which aren\u2019t things at all\u2026they\u2019re people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In April, Potter took part in Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2019s In My Room series<\/a>, where she performed \u201cShake It Off,\u201d Daylight\u2019s \u201cRelease\u201d and a cover of David Bowie\u2019s Labyrinth<\/em> song \u201cAs the World Falls Down.\u201d A week before the COVID-19 shutdown, the singer also attended<\/span> Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s Women Shaping the Future event<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
