How will Black Mirror<\/em> top the Emmy-winning “U.S.S. Callister” installment? With Miley Cyrus<\/a><\/strong>, it seems.<\/p>\n

Cyrus, who is promoting new music and will pop up on Saturday Night Live<\/em> on Saturday, Dec. 15, stopped by The Howard Stern Show<\/em> where sort of (but not offically) confirmed her involvement in the twisty Netflix series. Cyrus’ sister previously spilled the beans about Black Mirror<\/em> in a podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I’m really actually excited for everyone to watch the ‘headshaking project’ we said yes to,” Cyrus told<\/a> host Howard Stern<\/a><\/strong> after the Black Mirror<\/em> guessing game. “The minute I say I never want to do something again, all of a sudden, there I am.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

This will be Cyrus’ TV gig since Amazon’s Crisis in Six Scenes<\/em>, the Woody Allen<\/a><\/strong> series also starring Allen, Elaine May<\/strong> and Rachel Brosnahan<\/a><\/strong>. Before that, she appeared in the 2012 flick So Undercover<\/em>, Two and a Half Men<\/em>, LOL<\/em>, and of course the Disney Channel hit Hannah Montana<\/em> from 2006-2011.<\/p>\n

“I hate everything, but it was the first time I’ve left somewhere feeling really proud of my work…but you know if I like it that might mean it’s horrible,” she said. The role is one “with a lot of dynamic,” Cyrus said.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Each season of Black Mirror<\/em> features standalone episodes and new casts. Stars of the four seasons include Jon Hamm<\/a><\/strong>, Bryce Dallas Howard<\/a><\/strong>, Hayley Atwell<\/strong>, Michael Kelly<\/strong>, Michaela Coel<\/strong>, Gugu Mbatha-Raw<\/strong>, Rosemarie DeWitt<\/strong>, Jesse Plemons<\/strong>, Cristin Milioti<\/strong>, Letitia Wright<\/a><\/strong>, Cherry Jones<\/strong>, Jimmi Simpson<\/strong> and Billy Magnussen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Netflix declined to comment. A premiere date for Black Mirror<\/em> season five has not been announced.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
