It seems we’ve been waiting 525,600 minutes for Rent<\/em> to debut on Fox. However, now we have your first look at the cast in all their bohemian glory ahead of the Sunday, Jan. 27 premiere on Fox.<\/p>\n

Below, see Kiersey Clemons<\/strong>, Brandon Victor Dixon<\/strong>, Jordan Fisher<\/strong>, Vanessa Hudgens<\/a><\/strong>, Mario<\/a><\/strong>, Brennin Hunt<\/strong>, Tinashe<\/a><\/strong> and Valentina<\/strong> in character for Rent<\/em>, the acclaimed musical from Jonathan Larson<\/strong> that won four Tony Awards, a Pulitzer Prize, six Drama Desk Awards and was nominated for a Grammy. In addition to the aforementioned cast, Waitress<\/em> and The Greatest Showman<\/em> breakout Keala Settle<\/strong> will perform “Seasons of Love,” one of the show’s most famous songs, and join the ensemble of the live musical.<\/p>\n

The live broadcast will be executive produced by by Marc Platt<\/strong> of Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert<\/em> and La La Land<\/em> fame, with the estate of writer\/composer Jonathan Larson.<\/p>\n

Michael Greif<\/strong>, the director of the original Broadway production of Rent<\/em>, is the director overseeing the stage direction. Alex Rudzinski<\/strong>, a veteran of Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert<\/em>, Grease: Live<\/em> and Dancing with the Stars<\/em>, will be the live television director.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
