UPDATE: Jon Cryer\u00a0<\/strong> tweeted<\/a> on Saturday afternoon, “Am hearing Pete Davidson is at SNL<\/em> and accounted for. We are thinking of you, Pete. You are loved. (And just a heads up, when you finally turn on your cell, it’s gonna go apes–t for a little while).”<\/p>\n

Cryer previously tweeted, “I just tried to text and call him, his phone is not on or out of cell coverage.”<\/p>\n

Pete Davidson<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is not in a good place.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old\u00a0posted an alarming, seemingly suicidal message\u00a0after\u00a0sparking some backlash by defending\u00a0Kanye West<\/a><\/strong> with regard to his Twitter drama with the\u00a0SNL\u00a0<\/em>star’s ex-fianc\u00e9e,\u00a0Ariana Grande<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” Davidson wrote on Instagram on Saturday, just minutes before deleting his account, as he did temporarily after he and Grande split in October<\/a>. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.”<\/p>\n

“I’m in the plane now on the way to see Pete,” Machine Gun Kelly<\/strong>, his co-star in the upcoming film\u00a0Big Time Adolescence<\/em>, tweeted<\/a>. “Gonna make sure he’s good, I promise. Can’t have my boy in the darkness like that.”<\/p>\n

“Pete Davidson … hang in there. There is a lot of help out here,”\u00a0tweeted<\/a> Jada Pinkett Smith<\/a><\/strong>. “Surrender to some love some where around you … today! Right now! And then … let in the help that will become available. I’m praying for you Pete. I’ve been there. It gets better.”<\/p>\n

Minutes earlier, Davidson, who has been open about his struggle with depression<\/a>, wrote, “Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No on should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”<\/p>\n

Several of Grande’s fans lashed out at him for allegedly “attacking” his ex with his post.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Davidson had said earlier this month he has been bullied for months<\/a>, even before\u00a0he and Grande broke up.<\/p>\n

At the time, he wrote, “I’ve spoken about\u00a0[Borderline Personality\u00a0Disorder] and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don’t want to be on this earth…I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

West, who\u00a0shared a stage with Davidson on\u00a0SNL\u00a0<\/em>in September,<\/a>\u00a0has\u00a0also been open about his mental health struggles. In October, following controversy over the rapper’s politically-charged performance, Davidson issued a plea to him on the show,\u00a0saying he should take his medication<\/a>. West has said he has gone without it for several months.<\/p>\n

Grande has not responded to\u00a0Davidson’s\u00a0remarks, which come hours after she\u00a0weighed in on\u00a0West’s recent Twitter tirade<\/a>\u00a0against Drake<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She had tweeted,\u00a0“Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn but Miley and I dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y’all could please jus behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that’d be so sick thank u.”\u00a0Grande had released her new single “Imagine”<\/a>\u00a0as scheduled less than two hours later after promoting it throughout the day.<\/p>\n

West\u00a0unleashed a fresh Twitter tirade against Grande early on Saturday.<\/p>\n

“I know Ariana said this to be cool and didn’t mean no harm but I don’t like even slightest level of slight commentary from someone I know loves and respects me,” West\u00a0replied<\/a>\u00a0at 4:38 a.m. PT.<\/p>\n

“People will no longer take mental health for a joke,” he\u00a0continued<\/a>. “Drake verbally attacked Cudi<\/a>\u00a0when he was in the hospital and went at me after TMZ because I decided to release albums in June Is snowballed and he refused to meet with me but texted my mother in law and did sneak disses on peoples records that I consider family.”<\/p>\n

West also\u00a0wrote<\/a>, “All of this foolishness weighed on my mental health so @ArianaGrande you know I got love for you but until you’re ready to really make sure everyone’s ok don’t use me or this moment to promote a song.”<\/p>\n

Grande then tweeted, “With all due respect, I don’t need to use anyone to promote anything. Period.\u00a0I was making a comment ab what men were doing at the time vs. women. It was a joke which\u00a0I understand now was probably insensitive.\u00a0I apologize if\u00a0I was in any way triggering and hope u feel well today.”<\/p>\n

Her friend\u00a0Nicki Minaj<\/a><\/strong> also weighed in on the drama, tweeting<\/a>, “We can be so insensitive. God bless Kanye & Pete. Being flippant about mental illness speaks more about you than them. Stop saying the word love & live it. Love is an action.”<\/p>\n

Drake himself has not responded directly to\u00a0West’s tweets about him, in which he accused him of making threats against him<\/a>, while\u00a0Sophie Brussaux<\/strong>, the\u00a0mother of Drake’s son,\u00a0reacted to\u00a0Grande’s tweet<\/a>, writing on Instagram, “I would hardly call Kanye arguing with himself ‘grown men.'”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Davidson’s comments supporting West after his Twitter war of words with Grande are not surprising given that the former pair’s breakup was not exactly smooth.<\/p>\n

In November, she was angered by an\u00a0SNL<\/em> promo that showed the cast member\u00a0jokingly propose<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0musical guest\u00a0Maggie Rogers<\/strong>, and when she turns him down, he says he is “0\u00a0for 3.”\u00a0Grande later tweeted, “For somebody who claims to hate relevancy [you] sure love clinging to it huh…Thank u, next,” referring to what would later be revealed as the name of her new breakup single, which references Davidson and other exes by name, favorably.<\/p>\n

A source told E! News at the time that Davidson had “really hurt” Grande with the promo<\/a> because he had “violated”\u00a0an agreement to not\u00a0address or discuss his relationship with her after their split. Another source denied that\u00a0Davidson, who had also joked about their breakup<\/a>\u00a0at a comedy show, violated any agreement, saying\u00a0that the promo joke\u00a0was self-deprecating. Davidson would go on to say kind things about Grande on that week’s episode<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After\u00a0Davidson spoke out about being bullied over his relationship and split from Grande<\/a>, the pop star issued a plea to her fans, saying, “I care deeply about Pete and his health<\/a>. I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the Internet…I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point.” She also revealed that Davidson had blocked her on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n
