Even when she was a preschooler,\u00a0Ariana Grande<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0was a singing sensation\u2014and a fan of carpool karaoke.<\/p>\n

The now-25-year-old, one of the most popular singers, posted on her Instagram<\/a> page on Saturday a throwback video of her as a child,\u00a0sitting in a car with her family and belting out\u00a0C\u00e9line Dion<\/a><\/strong>‘s ballad “The Reason.” The song was released in 1997, when Grande was 4 years old.<\/p>\n

“Put it from the beginning Frankie!” she tells her brother,\u00a0Frankie Grande<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In another video, Ariana and mom\u00a0Joan Grande<\/strong> duet on Dion and\u00a0Barbra Streisand<\/a><\/strong>‘s\u00a01997 song “Tell Him.”<\/p>\n

“We still sing this,” Ariana wrote. “She’s still Barbara and still this stunning and cute if not more so.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Ariana is a known fan of Dion and can even\u00a0do a great impression of her, as well as other female pop stars, as seen on Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em>\u00a0and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“When I met Celine she told me, she was like, ‘When I saw you, I peed!'” Ariana said on\u00a0Elvis Duran and the Morning Show<\/em><\/a> in 2016. “I’m just a big fan. I’m a really big fan.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Ariana has been performing professionally since she was a child, appearing in community theater productions of shows such as Annie<\/em>, The Wizard of Oz<\/em> and Beauty and the Beast<\/em>. In 2008, at age 15, she starred in the Broadway musical\u00a013<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Ariana remains a devoted Broadway fan\u00a0and\u00a0returned\u00a0to her musical theater roots with a performance on the NBC special\u00a0A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway<\/em><\/a> several weeks ago. She also belted out\u00a0songs from Broadway musicals with\u00a0Family Guy<\/em> creator and crooner\u00a0Seth MacFarlane<\/a><\/strong> on Apple Music’s\u00a0Carpool Karaoke<\/em> series<\/a>. Ariana has also appeared on the original segment on The Late Late Show With James Corden<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 2009, she and 13\u00a0<\/em>co-star Elizabeth Gillies<\/strong> were cast on the Nickelodeon series Victorious<\/em>, which made them nationally famous TV stars. Ariana began her professional music career two years later, with the release of her first single, “Put Your Hearts Up.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
