Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong>\u00a0opened up about the royal\u00a0family during her Christmas broadcast.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on 2018, the royal monarch said it’s been a “busy year” for her family. She went on to mention Prince Harry<\/a><\/strong> and Meghan Markle<\/a><\/strong>‘s May wedding<\/a>, as well as Princess Eugenie<\/a><\/strong>‘s October nuptials<\/a>\u00a0to Jack Brooksbank<\/a><\/strong>, both of which took place at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. The Queen also mentioned the royal babies that were born this year\u2014including Prince William<\/a><\/strong> and Kate Middleton<\/a><\/strong>‘s baby boy, Prince Louis<\/a><\/strong>\u2014as well as the Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy.<\/p>\n

“Closer to home, it has been a busy year for my family,” the Queen said.\u00a0“With two weddings and two babies, and another child expected soon, it helps to keep a grandmother well occupied.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The Queen also mentioned Prince Charles<\/a><\/strong>‘ recent birthday celebration.<\/p>\n

“We’ve had other celebrations too, including the 70th birthday of the Prince of Wales,” she shared.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The royal family all stepped out together on\u00a0Tuesday to attend Christmas service at\u00a0St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. And, despite rumors of a feud, expecting Meghan was spotted smiling<\/a> with the Duchess of Cambridge during the family outing.<\/p>\n
