News has learned that\u00a0on Thursday, Dec. 27, Jennifer filed for legal separation from Fishman, who stars as\u00a0D.J. Conner on the ABC series, <em>The Conners<\/em>.\u00a0Fishman and Briner, who\u00a0married\u00a0in 1999, have two children together.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the split news, Fishman told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2018\/12\/28\/michael-fishman-split-wife-jennifer-briner-divorce-the-conners-roseanne\/\" target=\"_blank\">TMZ<\/a> that\u00a0it\u00a0was an &#8220;amicable&#8221;\u00a0decision between the duo\u00a0and that they went to court to file the documents together. According to the outlet, Fishman and Briner have &#8220;been in the process of splitting amicably&#8221; since June 2017.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"57.543233082707\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"10.462406015038\">\n<p>Fishman, who was born in Southern California, has played the role of D.J.
