What a year it’s been for the royals!<\/p>\n

On Saturday, days before New Year’s Eve, Kensington Palace released on Twitter<\/a> a 3-minute video montage of\u00a0Meghan Markle<\/a><\/strong> and Prince Harry<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0Kate Middleton<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0Prince William<\/a><\/strong>‘s\u00a0favorite\u00a0moments of\u00a02018.<\/p>\n

There are scenes from Meghan and Harry’s\u00a0royal wedding<\/a> in May, of course, as well as footage of the pregnant duchess, who is expecting the couple’s first child, showing a baby bump. There are also shots of the two on their first royal tour<\/a>, of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.<\/p>\n

This year was also big for Kate and William; they welcomed their third child<\/a>, son Prince Louis<\/a><\/strong>, in April. Footage of the couple introducing their newborn son to the press while standing outside St Mary’s Hospital<\/a> in London is seen in the montage, as is a video of the\u00a0couple with Louis and their older\u00a0kids\u00a0Prince George<\/a><\/strong>, 5, and\u00a0Princess Charlotte<\/a><\/strong>, 3, and Meghan and Harry at the baby’s christening in July<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

There is also footage of Kate while she was pregnant with Louis and footage of the two couples doing philanthropic work. The four are seen at their\u00a0first annual Royal Foundation Forum<\/a>\u00a0in February.<\/p>\n

Meghan, Harry, Kate, William, the kids,\u00a0Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong> and other family members are also shown on a Buckingham Palace balcony at the Trooping the Colour Parade<\/a>, a birthday celebration for the ceremonial monarch. Meghan is also seen talking to the queen and making her laugh<\/a> at her first solo engagement with her.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
