The wait is finally over.<\/p>\n

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup<\/a> was announced on Wednesday night after months of speculation. Childish Gambino<\/strong>, Tame Impala<\/strong> and Ariana Grande<\/a><\/strong> are going to be performing at the show, along with dozens of other artists like\u00a0The Pixies,\u00a0The 1975, Billie Eilish<\/strong>, Solange<\/strong> and\u00a0Khalid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The festival now spans two separate weekends: April 12-14 and April 19-21. Childish Gambino will be starting off the Coachella weekends on Friday night. Other big names that day include Janelle Mon\u00e1e<\/a><\/strong>, Kacey Musgraves<\/a><\/strong>, Ella Mai<\/strong>, Anderson .Paak<\/strong>, Diplo<\/a><\/strong> and Jaden Smith<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Saturday is just as great with Tame Impala, Solange, Kid Cudi<\/a><\/strong>, Weezer<\/strong>, J Balvin<\/a><\/strong> and Wiz Khalifa<\/a><\/strong>. The epic festival weekend will be closed out with the “Thank U, Next” singer as well as Zedd<\/strong>, Bad Bunny<\/strong>, Pusha T,<\/strong> CHVRCHES<\/strong> and Dillon Francis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Passes go on sale Friday at 11 a.m. PT.<\/a> They’re sure to sell out quickly as they have in years prior. Those who lucky enough to nab the prized passes will be dancing and singing along to hit songs in April during either the first or second weekend.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

General admission costs<\/a> $429 for the weekend while a pass plus shuttle will set you back $509. VIP wristbands are $999.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

It is rumored that\u00a0Kanye West<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0was going to be one of the artists who would headline, but, according to\u00a0reports<\/a>, negotiations fell through in the finals weeks leading up to the announcement. Apparently, Ye wanted to change up the traditional stage design, but this was not possible since other musicians needed a stage too. So, Kanye reportedly chose to walk, rather than\u00a0sacrifice his artistic liberty.<\/p>\n

Kanye wasn’t the only artist who was believed to be performing at the popular music and arts fest.\u00a0Rihanna<\/a><\/strong>and\u00a0Justin Timberlake<\/a><\/strong>were among the names whispered among avid attendees, which surely drove advanced ticket sales.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Musicians aren’t the only ones that concert-goers look forward to seeing at the festival, which takes place in Indio, Calif. Celebrities flock to the desert locale in their most fashionable festival attire, like last year when\u00a0Justin Bieber<\/a><\/strong> wore a funky Hawaiian shirt<\/a> to jam out to his favorite artists.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Last year’s concert is a hard act to beat, since\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>brought the house down with her Destiny’s Child<\/a><\/strong> reunion and Cardi B<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0performed pregnant<\/a>. However with these headliners performing, they may set the bar even higher.\u00a0<\/p>\n
