If the\u00a02019 AFI Awards<\/strong>\u00a0was any indication, Sunday night’s Golden Globes<\/a> is going to be particularly star-studded.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Honorees from both film and television attended Friday’s luncheon at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, including power couple\u00a0Emily Blunt<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0John Krasinski<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Emma Stone<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Michael B. Jordan<\/a><\/strong> and more. The glitzy soiree recognized a total of 21 movies and TV series from the past year, many of which are also nominated in several Globes categories.\u00a0<\/p>\n

AFI’s Movies of the Year were\u00a0Black Panther<\/em>,\u00a0Blackkklansman<\/em>,\u00a0Eighth Grade<\/em>,\u00a0The Favourite<\/em>,\u00a0First Reformed<\/em>,\u00a0Green Book<\/em>,\u00a0If Beale Street Could Talk<\/em>,\u00a0Mary Poppins Returns<\/em>,\u00a0A Quiet Place<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0A Star Is Born<\/em>. AFI’s TV Programs of the Year were\u00a0The Americans<\/em>,\u00a0The Assassination\u00a0of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story<\/em>,\u00a0Barry<\/em>,\u00a0Better Caul Saul<\/em>,\u00a0The Kominsky Method<\/em>, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/em>,\u00a0Pose<\/em>,\u00a0Succession\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0This Is Us.\u00a0<\/em>AFI awarded its “Special Award” to\u00a0Roma<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
