Melissa McCarthy<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and husband\u00a0Ben Falcone<\/strong>\u00a0never disappoint when it comes to being adorable.<\/p>\n

The two walked the red carpet at the 2019 Golden Globes<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0on Sunday and talked about\u00a0dealing with some healthy competition for film roles. She\u00a0is nominated for the award for\u00a0Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture \u2014 Drama for her role in\u00a0Can You Ever Forgive Me?<\/em><\/p>\n

Falcone also has a part in the film, which is\u00a0based on\u00a0Lee Israel<\/strong>‘s 2008 memoir of the same name.\u00a0McCarthy\u00a0plays the\u00a0author, who tries to\u00a0revive her\u00a0writing career following financial problems and bouts of writer’s block and alcoholism, by forging letters from deceased authors and playwrights.<\/p>\n

“Ben had the movie first,” McCarthy told E! News’\u00a0Ryan Seacrest<\/a><\/strong> on the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday. “I stole it and just wormed my way into it, as I do in most things in his life.”<\/p>\n

“I was going to do the movie in the first incarnation, and then she read it,” Falcone said. “The movie fell apart and then she, I still\u00a0say, stole it from me.”<\/p>\n

“I actually ended up doing the same part,” he said.<\/p>\n

Falcone often stars in movies with McCarthy, such as\u00a0Spy<\/em>, which earned her her first Golden Globe nomination in 2016.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
