The wildest thing about the 2019 Golden Globes<\/a><\/strong> wasn’t the award show<\/a> itself\u2014it was what went down at all the after-parties. It was a night filled with reunions and run-ins, and E! News was on the scene as Hollywood’s biggest stars let loose to celebrate the year in movies and TV.<\/p>\n

Hilary Duff<\/a><\/strong> enjoyed a rare night out with Matthew Koma<\/strong>, while fellow Disney Channel alum Ashley Tisdale<\/a><\/strong> showed off her newly dyed pink hair on the red carpet. A Very English Scandal<\/em> winner Ben Whishaw<\/strong> told E! News he was “so excited” over his win, despite feeling sad about co-star Hugh Grant<\/a><\/strong>‘s loss. Other guests included Garcelle Beauvais<\/strong>, Alex Bornstein<\/strong>, Sophia Bush<\/a><\/strong>, Derek Hough<\/a><\/strong>, Katherine McNamara<\/strong>, Bethany<\/strong> Joy Lenz<\/strong>, Jack Quaid<\/strong> and Tony Shalhoub<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Held at Sunset Tower, guests enjoyed everything from chocolate cake to truffle fries. Sadly, a source says the rain kept some people away, since “everyone was complaining about the cold.” Still, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a><\/strong> was ready to rage\u2014and after sending his mom home, he did just that.<\/p>\n

Jessica Chastain<\/a><\/strong> and Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo<\/strong> left early in the night. Before that, though, “she was saying hi to everyone and was making the rounds. She and her husband held hands and shared a kiss in valet as they waited for their car,” a source says. “They were super in love.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/em> winner Rachel Brosnahan<\/a><\/strong> was given a glass of champagne shortly after her midnight arrival. “She was roaming around, saying hi to Anne Hathaway<\/a><\/strong> and Emily Blunt<\/a><\/strong>,” a source tells E! News. “They all talked for several moments.”<\/p>\n

After grabbing a glass of champagne herself, Blunt and husband John Krasinski<\/a><\/strong> danced to ABBA<\/strong>‘s “Dancing Queen.” Blunt then began talking to Hathaway, “and they were all on the dance floor dancing with drinks in their hand. It looked like a total moms night out and they were having a lot of fun. John looked so in love with Emily and was laughing at her dancing.” Blunt and Hathaway were “inseparable” all night. “Everyone was dancing around and laughing.”<\/p>\n

As Amy Adams<\/a><\/strong>, Lupita Nyong’o<\/a><\/strong>, Bill Murray<\/a><\/strong> and more stars made the rounds, The Wife<\/em> winner Glenn Close<\/a><\/strong> “was mingling with people at the center bar and still had a look of shock over her win. Several people were approaching her to say congrats and she had a huge smile on her face,” a source says. “Emily chatted with her for several moments and she looked very happy.”<\/p>\n

Alwyn and Swift made a brief appearance around 1 a.m. “They weren’t showing any PDA but it was clear they were together. Security swarmed them,” the source says. “They sat in a couch at a table with their drinks in the back of the party and were talking with several people. They looked at each other a few times and it seemed like Joe was trying to make sure she was OK and gauge when she wanted to leave. They were then escorted out of a private exit together.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Swift beelined for The Favourite<\/em> cast to show her support for Alwyn and Stone. Meanwhile, Rami Malek<\/a><\/strong> celebrated Bohemian Rhapsody<\/em>‘s win with his castmates and Queen<\/strong>‘s Brian May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Other guests included Pen\u00e9lope Cruz<\/a><\/strong>, Cody Fern<\/strong>, Keegan-Michael Key<\/strong>, Janet Mock<\/strong>, Ryan Murphy<\/a><\/strong>, Matthew Rhys<\/strong>, Keri Russell<\/a><\/strong>, Tika Sumpter<\/strong>, James Van Der Beek<\/a><\/strong> and Ariel Winter<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Held at Circa 55 Restaurant, guests included Mahershala Ali<\/a><\/strong>, Caitriona Balfe<\/a><\/strong> and Henry<\/strong> Winkler<\/strong>. Emma Stone<\/a><\/strong> and boyfriend Dave McCary<\/strong> were seen “holding hands” as they made their exit just before 10 p.m., according to a partygoer. As Tiffany Haddish<\/a><\/strong> was congratulating If Beale Street Could Talk<\/em> winner Regina King<\/strong>, Pete Davidson<\/a><\/strong> and Machine Gun Kelly<\/strong> rolled in at 10:08 p.m. “They were in good mood,” a source tells E! News, adding that Davidson\u2014with a joint tucked behind his ear\u2014went up to the bar and ordered booze for his friends and a Coke for himself. “One man asked Pete how he’s doing,” the source adds, “and he said ‘Good, man!'”<\/p>\n

As Colin Hanks<\/a><\/strong>, Debra Messing<\/a><\/strong>, Billy Porter<\/strong> and more stars worked the room, Crazy Rich Asians<\/em> nominee Constance Wu<\/a><\/strong> introduced her dad to co-star Jimmy O. Yang<\/strong>. “They saw some friends; she was excited and hugged one of the guys,” a source says. “They were at a table chatting.”<\/p>\n

Sharp Objects<\/em> winner Patricia Clarkson<\/strong> was also seen “mingling with guests,” according to an insider. “She was holding a drink then went to her table and danced for a moment. It was cute!”

After midnight, new couple Jenna Dewan<\/strong> and Steve Kazee<\/strong> arrived holding hands. “Jenna is so comfortable around Steve,” a source says. “She had a smile on her face the whole time. They danced to several songs on the dance floor together and sang the lyrics of songs to each other.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Shuttles were required to get to the party at the Waldorf Astoria\u2014even for celebrities! Kat<\/strong> Graham<\/strong>, Nicole Scherzinger<\/a><\/strong> and Sarah Silverman<\/a><\/strong> were among those spotted waiting in line.<\/p>\n

This Is Us<\/em> star Justin Hartley<\/a><\/strong> “was making the rounds and chatting with a few people before making a quick exit,” a source says. Meanwhile, his co-star Chrissy Metz<\/a><\/strong> seemed “very intense and quite sad” as she waited for her car, likely due to her hot mic moment involving Alison<\/strong> Brie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While Charlize Theron<\/a><\/strong> “was dancing with friends and having a great time letting loose,” Spike<\/strong> Lee<\/strong> “was the hit of the party,” according to the source. “He had many friends who were very vocally excited to see him.” Wells Adams<\/strong> and Sarah Hyland<\/a><\/strong> “weren’t shy about showing their physical affection” as guests including Joan Collins<\/a><\/strong> and Rami Malek<\/strong> made their arrivals. Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly called it a night around 11:45 p.m., “walking side by side as they passed through the hallways of the Beverly Wilshire, joking with each other and laughing.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Alwyn and Swift came and went in a flash, according to an insider. “They were ushered in very quickly to a back booth on a platform and hung out there for 10 minutes,” the insider says. “There was no obvious PDA\u2014just them together whispering to each other closely in a booth.”<\/p>\n

Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly left the bash, only to return an hour later. The Saturday Night Live<\/em> star flirted with Kate Beckinsale<\/a><\/strong>, the insider adds, and there were “definitely some vibes going on.” Right after Davidson left, the actress was “all giddy” while talking to another friend.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Brie was “definitely having the most fun” of anyone, the insider tells E! News. “She and the GLOW<\/em> girls broke it down on the dance floor and started the party off with high energy dance moves; they were dancing to Britney Spears<\/a><\/strong>‘ ‘I’m a Slave 4 U,’ Michael Jackson<\/a><\/strong> and Cardi B<\/a><\/strong> songs. At one point, Alison even somehow ended up on the floor!” The actress, who lost in her category that night, “eventually ditched her shoes for maximum effect on the dance floor.”<\/p>\n

Brie’s husband, Dave Franco<\/a><\/strong>, meanwhile, “hung back in his booth, talking to friends.”<\/p>\n

Sacha Baron Cohen<\/a><\/strong> and Isla Fisher<\/a><\/strong> were “the cutest couple ever,” the insider adds. “They had the best time on the dance floor. Even though Sacha’s moves were kind of dorky, Isla was still having fun dancing with him. Isla was playing with her skirt while dancing, letting it billow in the air; Sacha was trying to keep up and she was smiling and laughing with him. It was very playful.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

To celebrate a job well done, the co-hosts busted open some Tequila Don Julio 1942 at Delilah. “We had such a great time hosting the show, it only made sense to keep the night going with some of our closest friends, colleagues and complete strangers,” Oh and Samberg said in a press release. “They say the Globes is Hollywood’s biggest party, but this was the REAL party!”<\/p>\n

Some of the “closest friends” and “complete strangers” who turned up included Sterling K. Brown<\/a><\/strong>, Drake<\/a><\/strong>, Tiffany Haddish<\/strong>, John Hamm<\/strong>, Lorne Michaels<\/strong>, Amy Poehler<\/a><\/strong> and Maya Rudolph<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
