Cue an eyebrow raise.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the heels of\u00a0The Weeknd<\/a><\/strong>‘s newly released track with DJ\u00a0Gesaffelstein, “Lost in the Fire,” fans are pointing at another musical star:\u00a0Drake<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Listeners took note of the Grammy winner’s sultry lyrics, paying special attention to a line that goes, “And I just want a baby with the right one
(I just want a baby with the right)\u00a0‘Cause I could never be the one to hide one\u00a0(I could never be the one to hide).”<\/p>\n

Fans inferred the comment was a reference to Drake, who secretly welcomed a son in October 2017, but did not confirm his existence until he released his fifth studio album<\/a>,\u00a0Scorpion<\/em>, in June 2018 after\u00a0Pusha T<\/strong> accused him of “hiding”<\/a> the child on his diss track,\u00a0“The Story of Adidon.”<\/p>\n

“I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world,” Drake retorted on “Emotionless.”<\/a> “I was hidin’ the world from my kid.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“OMG!!! The Weeknd just assured we wont be getting another Take Care album or another collab song with Drake,” one fan tweeted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Still laughing about the drake line,” another fan tweeted. “Drops tea #<\/s>Lostinthefire.”<\/p>\n

The two, who have collaborated on each other’s music in the past, were said to have alleged beef back<\/a> in 2017 around the same time rumors sparked that\u00a0Bella Hadid<\/a><\/strong>and Drake were seeing each other. At the time, The Weeknd was dating Selena Gomez<\/a><\/strong>. There were also claims that Drake\u00a0threw the supermodel a<\/a> 21st birthday party.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While mama\u00a0Yolanda Hadid<\/strong> played coy about the soir\u00e9e<\/a>, she did confirm to\u00a0Andy Cohen<\/a><\/strong> at the time, “They’re friends.”<\/p>\n

Then, on his track “Finesse,” Drake gave the impression he was singing about Hadid<\/a> with lines like “I want my baby to have your eyes, I’m going against my own advice \/ Should I do New York? I can’t decide \/ Fashion Week is more your thing than mine.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

However, the supermodel denied it<\/a>, tweeting, “Not me!!!\u00a0that’s disrespectful. WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W\/o all the insinuation.”<\/p>\n

As fans well know, Hadid and The Weeknd have been exclusively back together<\/a> since the summer. As for The Weeknd’s new song, we feel some new drama coming.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
