She wrote about the effect in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BsjcuAsnFFP\/\" target=\"_blank\">candid and emotional post<\/a> on Saturday. &#8220;I think the worst of it is finally over,&#8221; she began.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-2\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"57\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"4\">\n<p>Jamie described leaving the doctor&#8217;s office and &#8220;wondering when and if the medication would work.&#8221; She explained that the medicine &#8220;wasn&#8217;t guaranteed to work&#8221; because she was farther along in her pregnancy.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-3\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"62\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"14\">\n<p>The 32-year-old then said she had some &#8220;mild cramps&#8221; in the afternoon, but that then morphed into &#8220;the most sharp, excruciating pains all throughout my belly and my back.&#8221; Jamie spent the night &#8220;curled up in fetal position.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Their daughter <strong>Henley Grace Hehner<\/strong> &#8220;slept\u00a0angelically through the night.&#8221; Jamie added, &#8220;Almost like she knew mama and dada were sad and in pain and needed a night.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jamie wrote she and Doug &#8220;are trying our best to stay positive.&#8221; She continued,\u00a0&#8220;We&#8217;ve made it through this before.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"text-5\" data-hook=\"scrollable-block\" readability=\"57.610208816705\">\n<section data-textblock-tracking=\"text-block-text-only\" data-swiftype-index=\"false\" readability=\"17.726218097448\">\n<p>Just over two years ago, Jamie and Doug suffered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BroK-B3H7kX\/\" target=\"_blank\">another miscarriage<\/a> with their son, <strong>Johnathan<\/strong>. Jamie mentioned their late baby in the post. &#8220;I guess our little Johnny wanted a little brother or sister to play with up in heaven,&#8221; she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>In September, the\u00a0<em>Married at First Sight<\/em> couple announced Jamie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/964979\/married-at-first-sight-s-jamie-otis-reveals-she-had-a-chemical-pregnancy\" target=\"_blank\">had a chemical pregnancy<\/a>, which accounts for a large percentage of miscarriages. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know why some people have it seemingly SO easy to get preggers &amp; carry their babies to term and others struggle?&#8221; she said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie and Doug\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/999214\/married-at-first-sight-s-jamie-otis-and-doug-hehner-expecting-their-second-child\" target=\"_blank\">announced on Christmas<\/a>\u00a0that they were expecting another child. They shared the happy news on an episode of their new podcast called\u00a0<em>Hot Marriage. Cool Parents<\/em>.
