When it came time for Kate Middleton<\/a><\/strong> to celebrate her birthday, it seems\u00a0Meghan Markle<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0Prince Harry<\/a><\/strong> were not part of the festivities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to new reports, the Duchess of Cambridge rang in her 37th year with friends and family. Attendees included Thomas van Staubenzee<\/strong>, James Meade<\/strong> and Laura Meade<\/strong>, Tom Barber<\/strong> and Davina Barber<\/strong>, as well as Tom Sutton<\/strong> and Harriet Sutton<\/strong>, People<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>reported. The Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0also reported that\u00a0Emilia Jardine-Paterson<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0David Jardine-Paterson<\/strong> as well as\u00a0Sophie Carter<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Robert Carter<\/strong> were present.\u00a0<\/strong>Many of the reported guests are godparents to Middleton’s three children and longtime friends or relatives of the duke and duchess.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, William’s famous brother and his expectant wife were not at the soir\u00e9e, according to\u00a0People<\/em>, which also reported that the birthday gathering took place last weekend at the couple’s Anmer Hall home in Norfolk, close to\u00a0Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong>‘s Sandringham residence. Days before her 37th birthday, Kate and William attended church with the monarch<\/a>, and the Jardine-Patersons were photographed along with them. Kensington Palace declined to comment<\/a> on the reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

However, it’s unclear whether Harry and Meghan were not invited or did not attend. Some reports have suggested the soon-to-be first-time parents were on a holiday vacation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While the circumstances surrounding the celebration are still a bit unclear, the two women did appear to be on friendly terms when they last stepped out in public together<\/a> for the customary Christmas Day service in Sandringham with their husbands and other members of the royal family.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the heels of claims that they\u00a0had fought<\/a>\u00a0before Markle’s May wedding, the ladies shared a smile in their holiday fascinators<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

If this year’s birthday gathering was anything like last year’s for Middleton, it was quite low-key.\u00a0“It’s just a quiet celebration at home,” a source told E! News<\/a> at the time. “No big party.”<\/p>\n

Before long, the “Royal Fab Four” will be back together once again in celebration of the arrival of Meghan and Harry’s first child, who is due in late April\/early May<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
