Margot Robbie<\/a><\/strong> is one of the most in-demand actresses in Hollywood, and yet, the question she keeps being asked is when she’s going to get pregnant.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old star is currently on a press tour for her latest movie Mary Queen of Scots<\/em> where she plays Queen Elizabeth II<\/a><\/strong> I<\/strong> alongside Saoirse Ronan<\/a><\/strong>, who plays Queen Mary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In case you need a little history refresher, Queen Elizabeth never produced an heir (which was scandalous for that time period, FYI!)<\/p>\n

Because of this fun fact, the biggest question on people’s minds is when Margot plans to have babies. It’s a simple, even harmless, tie-in, but understandably, the actress is fed up with that sexist inquiry.<\/p>\n

In fact, Robbie wants people to stop asking this question altogether, regardless if that person is a celebrity or not. Speaking candidly to\u00a0The Radio Times<\/a><\/em>, Margot made this pet-peeve of hers known.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“It made me really angry,” she said of strangers asking about her pregnancy status. “How dare some old guy dictate what I can and can’t do when it comes to motherhood or my own body?”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Adding to the topic, she said, “Unfortunately, it’s a conversation we’re still having.” If anything, Margot expressed she was constantly asked about having kids even before she took on the role of Queen Elizabeth I.<\/p>\n

When she married<\/a> British filmmaker Tom Ackerley<\/strong> back in 2016, the I, Tonya<\/em> star got this question numerous times. “I got married, and the first question in almost every interview is ‘Babies?’ When are you having one?'”<\/p>\n

“I’m so angry that there’s this social contract. You’re married, now have a baby. Don’t presume. I’ll do what I’m going to do.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
