Listen up, Bachelor Nation.\u00a0<\/em>Wells Adams<\/strong>\u00a0has a message for you: he will most certainly pay for his girlfriend<\/a>,\u00a0Sarah Hyland<\/a><\/strong>‘s, engagement ring.<\/p>\n

The Bachelor in Paradise\u00a0<\/em>star\u00a0is heated after radio hosts Bobby Bones<\/strong>, Lunchbox<\/strong> and Amy Brown<\/strong> criticized his relationship with the Modern Family<\/em> actress.\u00a0After rumors\u00a0swirled online that the couple might be getting married,\u00a0the radio hosts suggested\u00a0that\u00a0Sarah would most likely be buying\u00a0her own engagement ring.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lunchbox flat-out said, “She’s buying the ring!”<\/p>\n

To make things even messier, Wells used to work\u00a0in the same building as the\u00a0Bobby Bones Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old reality star quickly clapped back to make things clear, noting that\u00a0his “pet peeve” is when people assume “Sarah pays for everything,” he told co-host Brandi Cyrus<\/strong> of Your Favorite Things<\/em> podcast on the Jan. 16 episode.<\/p>\n

“Can I go on the record right here? I will pay for this ring, I promise you. It will come out of my bank account,” Wells proclaimed. “I guess the thing that grinds my gears the most is anytime I seen anyone from that show, they’re so nice to me. They’re so nice to my face. Like if you’re going to be a dick, be a dick all the time.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The radio hosts also dissed\u00a0The Bachelorette<\/em>\u00a0contestant for living with his girlfriend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“He probably had a one bedroom apartment here in Nashville and now he’s living in a mansion with a multimillionaire.” Adding that Wells “still works for the company; he just does it out of her house!”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The 34-year-old reality star\u00a0fired back at the The Bobby Bones Show<\/em>\u00a0hosts’ comments, saying, “Okay, by the way, I did not live in a one bedroom apartment in Nashville\u2026I owned a house then, it was a two-bedroom house!”<\/p>\n

Wells wasn’t the only one to catch wind of this story. “I showed Sarah,” he said to Cyrus. “She was like, ‘I’m f\u2014king going after those guys.'”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Bobby Bones cleared the air on Twitter<\/a>, explaining his\u00a0comments after outlets picked up the story. “I said no such thing. ever. maybe wells is trying to start something with me for this press,” Bones tweeted. “But I like the guy. I got no beef. actually when all of this below was said, I disagreed with it.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

While Wells has mentioned that he can see himself marrying the\u00a0Modern Family<\/em>\u00a0actress one day, it doesn’t seem like it will happen just yet. The pair recently moved in together and started dating back in 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old was one of\u00a0The Bachelorette<\/em>\u00a0contestants on JoJo Fletcher<\/a><\/strong>‘s season and\u00a0also appeared on\u00a0Bachelor in Paradise<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
