Alert! Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong> has been spotted at a recording studio.<\/p>\n

With Swifties everywhere buzzing about a possible new album<\/a>, the superstar “End Game” singer\u00a0might’ve just dropped another hint about her next chapter.\u00a0While nothing has been officially announced, Swift was just spotted at recording studio\u00a0in New York City. Photos show the 29-year-old donning a skirt, black leggings, oxfords and coat, with her hair pulled back in a scrunchie, exiting the studio on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

“It appeared she was there all day as she was not spotted leaving until after 9 p.m.,” a source tells E! News,\u00a0noting that Swift looked “pretty focused” as she left the studio holding her phone and her purse.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The insider adds that it looked like Swift “had a pretty intense full day of recording.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Swift has been dropping clues<\/a> about her next chapter in recent months.\u00a0When\u00a0she took the stage at\u00a0October’s 2018 AMAs, where she won multiple awards,\u00a0T.Swift\u00a0gave fans hope for what’s to come.<\/p>\n

“I always look at albums as chapters in my life. And I’m so\u2014to the fans, I’m so happy that you like this one,” Swift said of her\u00a0reputatio<\/em>n era. “I’m so happy that this means that you like this one. But I have to be really honest with you about something, I’m even more excited about the next chapter.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier this month, Swift had her fans in a frenzy over her New Year’s Eve costume, thinking it had something to do with a new album.<\/p>\n

Swift\u00a0hosted a star-studded New Year’s Eve bash<\/a>\u00a0at her place in NYC with\u00a0celeb guests\u00a0Gigi Hadid<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Blake Lively<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ryan Reynolds<\/a><\/strong>. For the occasion, Swift told her Instagram followers, the group decided to dress up as their childhood heroes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Mary Poppins, Audrey, Ariel, Ms. Frizzle, Cinderella, Gwen, Mr. Toad, Avril, Nancy Drew, Posh Spice, Rizzo, Frida Kahlo, Steve Irwin, Dorothy.. This new year we decided to dress up as our childhood heroes,” Swift, who dressed as Ariel from\u00a0The Little Mermaid<\/em>, wrote to her fans.\u00a0“Sending you all love and hope going into 2019.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Though Swift’s NYE post seemed innocent, many fans believed her costume was a hint at\u00a0TS7<\/em>‘s theme: mermaids.<\/p>\n

One savvy\u00a0social media user, who spotted Swift wearing mermaids on multiple occasions during her\u00a0reputation<\/em>\u00a0era,\u00a0tweeted<\/a>, “IS !!! TAYLOR?!! ALREADY??? GIVING US ??!!! TS7 CLUES?!! OMFG THE MERMAIDS IS TS7 THEME IM-????”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
