When she isn’t winning awards<\/a>\u00a0for her talent in\u00a0A Star Is Born<\/em>, Lady Gaga<\/a><\/strong> can be found in Las Vegas speaking her mind.<\/p>\n

The singer got political during her\u00a0Enigma<\/em> show on Saturday night and doubled down on President Donald Trump<\/a><\/strong> as well as Vice President Mike Pence<\/strong>. Gaga also made some blatant digs at Pence’s wife, Karen Pence<\/strong>, whose\u00a0new part-time job struck up some major controversy.<\/p>\n

Karen Pence recently accepted a role to teach art at\u00a0Immanuel Christian School in Virginia. According to\u00a0Washington Post<\/em><\/a>, part of the school’s employee standards says, “I understand that the term ‘marriage’ has only one meaning; the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive covenant union as delineated in Scripture.”<\/p>\n

Additionally, “homosexual or lesbian sexual activity, polygamy, transgender identity, any other violation of the unique roles of male and female” are\u00a0considered “moral misconduct” and violations of the employee agreement.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Parents must also acknowledge that their kids can get kicked out of the school for activities that do not coincide with a “biblical lifestyle,” such as “condoning sexual immorality, homosexual activity or bi-sexual activity.” The vice president called the criticism<\/a> and outrage “deeply offensive.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Bobby Caruso, who attended the concert\u00a0in Las Vegas, tweeted a video of Gaga’s speech and described\u00a0other political moments. “She started off saying Trump better reopen the government for the employees who can’t pay their bills and then brought up Mrs Pence working with an anti LGBT school,” Caruso tweeted.<\/p>\n

During her\u00a0Engima<\/em>\u00a0show, the “Million Reasons” singer spoke about Christianity, faith and inclusion.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

“What I do know about Christianity is that we bear no prejudice and everyone is welcome,” she told the screaming crowd. “So you can take all that disgrace, Mr. Pence, and look at yourself in the mirror.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

According to Twitter users @gagaamour, Gaga said at another point in the show, “If the f–king President of the United States can please put our government back together, there are people who live paycheck to paycheck and need their money.”<\/p>\n

She continued, “And to Mike Pence, who thinks it’s acceptable that his wife work at a school that bans LGBTQ you are wrong. You say we should not discriminate\u2014you are the worst representation of what it means to be a Christian.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Her Saturday night show in Las Vegas wasn’t the first time the singer has spoken out about the current government.\u00a0One day after the 2016 election, Gaga joined other protesters<\/a> outside of Trump Tower in New York and held up a sign that said “Love Trumps Hate.”\u00a0On election night, she tweeted, “In a room full of hope, we will be heard. Stand up for kindness, equality, and love. Nothing will stop us. Say a prayer America.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

The movie star also campaigned for\u00a0Hillary Clinton<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0before the election.\u00a0“She has a career in politics that spans decades of experience, education, leadership, and wisdom. She’s ready to be president.\u00a0She kept going and she kept fighting for women’s rights. She kept fighting for the care of our children. She kept fighting for those that are in need,” Gaga said.<\/p>\n

In 2012, Lady Gaga\u00a0turned down $1 million<\/a>\u00a0to perform at the GOP convention.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

Lady Gaga’s\u00a0Engima<\/a><\/em> residency<\/a> in Las Vegas runs until November 2019.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
