The Jersey Shore Family Vacation<\/em> star,\u00a0Vinny Guadagnino<\/strong>, is\u00a0asking for\u00a0Kim Kardashian<\/a><\/strong>‘s help.<\/p>\n

The reason? He wants the cosmetics mogul\u00a0to use her star power to\u00a0help free his MTV co-star<\/a> Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino<\/a><\/strong> from prison.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While at the Los Angeles airport, TMZ<\/a><\/em>\u00a0asked\u00a0Vinny about\u00a0how his friend is holding up. “I heard he’s doing great in there,” he\u00a0says.<\/p>\n

“I knew he was gonna do good. He was never really nervous about it, so I was praying, ‘I hope once he’s in there it’s okay.'” Adding that “he’s so strong mentally.”<\/p>\n

So how does the Keeping Up With the Kardashians<\/em> star tie into this, er, situation?\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Kim Kardashian has been getting prisoners out of jail,” the reporter tells Vinny, to which he replies, “So she’s gonna do it for Mike.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Giving the Selfish<\/em> author\u00a0his “pitch,” the Jersey Shore<\/em> star asks for her help.<\/p>\n

“Kim, Mike is an amazing person. To me, he’s completely reformed, he’s a great member of society…he preaches to kids who have addictions. He’s a big advocate and evangelist for recovery.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

In fact, Vinny thinks Mike is “better off out here.” Finishing off his conversation with the publication, the reality TV star says, “Kim, get on that.”<\/p>\n

It’s no secret that\u00a0the cosmetics mogul\u00a0has been using her social media influence\u00a0to support and advocate for inmates<\/a>\u00a0like\u00a0Alice Marie Johnson<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Cyntoia Brown<\/strong>. With Kim’s help, Johnson was released from prison<\/a>\u00a0in June 2018 and Brown received clemency<\/a> earlier this month.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The star has yet to respond to Vinny’s request.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

As for Mike “The Situation,” he’s currently serving eight months in prison<\/a> for tax evasion. He turned himself to authorities on Tuesday, Jan. 15. As we previously reported<\/a>, the Jersey Shore<\/em> star arrived at the Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York. He gave one last farewell on Instagram<\/a>, saying, “The comeback is always greater than the setback.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

His wife\u00a0Lauren Sorrentino\u00a0<\/strong>has been keeping his fans up-to-date. In a recent social media post, she wrote, “It is truly heartwarming to have this support during this time.”\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
